    Location: Lancaster, PA Base Pay: 17.50 - 20.00

    Resource MFG is hiring Entry Level Machine Operator in Lancaster, PA

    Available shifts:

    6:00am to 4:00pm

    4:00 pm to 2:00 am 

    Work Week: Monday to Friday 

    Pay Rate: $17.50 to 20.00

    Entry Level Machine Operator Duties:

    • Read press schedules to ensure that the correct paper is supplied to the presses
    • Ensure paper meets job specifications and paper splices are prepared in a timely manner 
    • Set up quality splices that run through the press with minimum paper weave and sheeter jams. 
    • Keep roll tags for each roll used in order at the press. 
    • Remove finished product to WIP 
    • Label unused stock with roll tag and replace core bungs for return to inventory. 
    • Supply press with fountain solution as needed 
    • Keep press supplied with chemicals, rags and other consumables as needed.
    • Assist press operator in webbing press. 
    • Maintain cutoff registration and inspect product for quality defects during the run.

    NEW HIRE WILL TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 2-4 WEEKS MON-THURS 6AM-4PM.


    Job Duties:
    • Operating machines and equipment daily (Annealing Machines)
    • Communicate?with Team Lead, Supervisor and/or Technician on any issues that may arise during operation
    • Use of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processes?
    • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards?
    • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identified?


    Requirements

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience interacting with mechanical systems
    • Proficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials?
    • Proven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes to achieve part specifications?
    • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
    • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills?
    • Ability to read and write English?
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs?
    • Understanding of GD&T is a plus

    • Assemble at stations or production lines using various hand tools and air guns.
    • Comply with established procedures, maintain proper relationship of parts, run in and check units as directed.
    • Duties may also include packing, crating or bundling a wide range of company product
    • Maintain necessary records keeping while preforming job duties. 
    • Perform all required duties to prepare company products and parts for shipment by cutting lumber and constructing standardize crates, boxes, skids and other containers.
    • Pack items according to prescribed methods to ensure adequate protection from shipment damage. Work from prints, specification sheets and verbal instructions.
    • Responsible for inspection parts, teamwork, accuracy, inventory control duties as required, total quality, employee involvement, cost reductions, and training new operators.
    • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision. 

    Assembler Job Requirements: 

    • Applicant with mechanical aptitude that are used to working in a paced environment.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds 
    • Ability to read measuring equipment which as ruler or scales. 
    • Bend or Stoop for up to 8 hours in a day.

  • Maintenance Technician

    Location: Leola, PA Base Pay: 36.25 per HOUR

    Extrusion Maintenance Technician in Leola Pa 

    Pay Rate: $36.25 an hours 

    3rd Shift Hours: 5:00 pm to 5:00 am. 

    Work Schedule: 3 days on 2 days off 

    SUMMARY Have a basic knowledge of the facilities’ layout of Compressed Air systems; Chilled Water, Recycled Water and City Water systems; Electrical Distribution Panels, Buss Bar Disconnects, and Primary Circuit Breakers. Responsible for maintaining all equipment in all areas of the plant, and covering all emergency break downs and repairs in a timely manner. Possess basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, and basic welding and fabricating skills. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter inspection and replacement, oil changes, motor and pump replacements, plumbing, painting, cleaning, and any other mechanical and electrical task as assigned. Possess adequate computer skills to use SAP to generate work orders, track labor, and consume materials. Maintain high safety standards.

    Extrusion Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Possess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required.
    • Cover all emergency break downs and repairs in a timely manner. 
    • Make shift rounds at a minimum of twice per shift to inspect Air Compressors, Chillers, Compressors, Water Pumps, Storage Silos, Material Transfer Systems, Extrusion Equipment; Air, Water, and Electrical Systems and other Operation-Critical Equipment to insure functionality to required operational standards. Report problems with equipment, leaks, and other deficiencies and take action as needed.
    • Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program. 
    • Ability to properly assess operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing and electrical systems and determine course of action if needed. 

    Extrusion Maintenance Technician Qualifications: 

    • 2 years of extrusion experience or 3 plus years of industrial maintenance experience. 
    • Lift Up to 50 pounds 
    • Ability to preform duties for up to 8 to 10 hours by stooping/kneeling/crouching
