  • Maintenance Technician plans, lays out, assembles, installs metal parts, equipment, and products according to company specifications and blueprints.
  • Position requires routine work to customer requirements on a variety of fabrication material.
  • Must be able to comply with company safety policies, keep the work area clean, and possess the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other related duties as assigned. Must support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible

Job Requirements:

  • 0-2 years minimum of related work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be able to read and use a tape measure
  • Safely operate a forklift to handle materials
  • Set up shear, saw, drill press and ironworker
  • Ability to identify grades and types of sheet metal and pipe
  • Ability to handle and positioning large sheets, pipe, and cross square sheets
  • Ability to use hand tools, i.e., hand drill, grinder, punch
  • The ability to read and independently work from plans, sketches, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects

Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
