Electrical Engineer Needed in Katy, TX!

General Role Description
Visually inspects all units to be tested (pre-power inspection), performs production line acceptance testing using a combination of manual and automated test equipment. With strong troubleshooting techniques, the technician should be able to identify problems during tests and provide solutions.

 

Role Accountabilities 

  • Perform visual inspections on all product lines. 
  • Perform production line acceptance testing including insulation tests and function tests. 
  • Ability to work from instructions, drawings, and procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion (strong troubleshooting skills). 
  • Record test results and complete test reports/paperwork per instructions/procedures.
  • Report issues found on failed units.
  • Perform some mechanical assembly.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to handle large gage cables.
  • Good communication skills and ability to function in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
  • Outstanding work ethics and commitment to organizational success.
  • Able to follow and comply with Company Safety Standards.

Work Schedule: 

Day Shift: 8:00 am - 5 pm, with possible/mandatory OT

Night Shift: 5:30 pm – 2 am, with possible/mandatory OT

 

Pay: 

$25/hr. ($27.00/hr. for 2nd shift) - Paid weekly!

Job Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in the electric industry.
  • Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent college hours in engineering or comparable industry experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience in power electronics.
  • Experience in operating standard test equipment including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Isolation Testers, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001

We are currently seeking a person that will perform general labor for a local waste management company. These professionals pick up and remove waste from homes, businesses and other locations and take the waste to a designated location for proper disposal.

 

Job Duties: 

  • This person with travel with a driver and pick up local garbage disposal and load into the truck.
  • Will be able to work in all weather conditions 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop for up to 10 to 12 hours per day

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturday's) / 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Experienced Industrial Electrician Needed in Sealy, TX!

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of high and low voltage lines, motors and electrical equipment in each workshop
  • Responsible for the utility, construction, principle, performance and operation maintenance of power and electrical equipment of all departments in the factory
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory
  •  Strictly abide by the circuit technical regulations and safety regulations to ensure safe power supply and ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment
  • Go to the site and inspect the electrical equipment condition and safety protection
  • Carefully fill in the major and intermediate repair records of electrical equipment (maintenance items, contents, parts, replaced parts, dates, working hours, spare parts material consumption, etc.) to accumulate the original data
  • Responsible for Gas line maintenance and repair work in plant
  • Cooperate with related personnel to make and train related rules and regulations of production safety Capacity requirements and qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years electrician working experience
  • Extensive knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, instrumentation and motor control circuits
  • Strong knowledge of power/hand tools
  • Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently without close supervision, spirit of teamwork
  • Strong work ethic to do the job to the best of his ability while maintaining high standards of business ethics
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other standards
  • Knowledge of 480v-3 and Modicon, a plus but not required
