  • Act as first point of contact for vendors and client contacts for all employee issues for 
  • Educates client on guidelines and sets expectations for the handling of any employee issues. 
  • Ensures all employee issues are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion 
  • Coordinates resolution of the all workforce issues with vendors and client partners and understands risk areas for all parties 
  • Delivers client customized new hire orientations 
  • Collects and reviews all required work related onboarding documents for each employee prior to start 
  • Runs reports and uses data to identify workforce challenges and escalates issues to the appropriate resource (using CRM, Power BI, time/attendance software) 
  • Participates in client meetings about safety and operations and documents and investigates safety incidents and executes the safety observation program 
  • Coaches associates on attendance policies, conducts ABC performance reviews, and assigns and ends associate assignments 
  • Processes payroll and tracks attendance, wage, and hour compliance 
  • Walks candidates through tour of client facility (walking 3 to 5 miles daily) 
  • Participates in whiteboard meetings to understand daily order fill goals 
  • Conducts onboarding, I-9s, and background checks Your attributes 
  • Hands-on experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment 

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service role responsible for client communication 
  • Data management experience 
  • HR experience is preferred 
  • Familiarity with a heavy process-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual Spanish / English

• Maintain and enhance systems to control and monitor the application and approval process for permits and certifications.

• Maintain records of approvals and related communications to demonstrate regulatory compliance in the manufacturing facilities.

• Permitting for facility of the following but not limited to: Burglar Alarm Permit, Fire Suppression System permit, City Occupancy Permit, Fire Permit,

• Communicate manufacturing compliance requirements through effective written and verbal channels.

• Prepares for audit preparations by government agencies and/or compliance consulting groups.

• Establishes and builds relationships with local city, state and government agencies and/or representatives to secure certifications.

• Works cross-functionally to communicate regulatory requirements and monitor completion to ensure timely regulatory submissions.

• Assist in Interpreting technical data and translates correctly onto annual reporting preparedness projects.

• Assist with submissions to government for the certification of Environmental reporting as flows but not limited to: TIER II, MSEQ, TRI, SWPP, SCPP

• Monitors new/revised regulations and ensures action plans are established in the appropriate business units.

• Assists in determining instances of non-conformance and initiates corrective action.

• Identifies business needs on new / revised permitting and regulations and ensures action plans are established in the appropriate compliancy groups: OSHA, EPA, FIFRA, TCEQ and DOT

• Updates and maintains regulatory content for assigned local codes, rules and regulations

• Direct report is: Director of Operations/ Plant Manager

• Manage work order processes and coordinate site services vendors.

• Monitor and implement scheduled preventative maintenance.

• Receives requests for building or equipment maintenance.

• Vet out and schedule technicians or specialists to repair equipment as necessary; arrange for repairs
