CNC OPERATORS NEEDED

LOCATION : EAST SIDE OF TERRE HAUTE

PAY - 20+BASED ON EXPERIENCE

SHIFT - FRIDAY - SUNDAY 5PM-530AM

**WORK 36 HOURS GET PAID FOR 40**

Position Description:

The Lathe Operator performs detailed machine setups, G & M code (CNC) programming, machine process improvement and troubleshooting, and produces machined parts using both CNC and manual lathes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operation of production processes
• In-process inspection of parts with provided gages
• Comparing production parts to drawing specifications and troubleshooting/reporting machine and production process issues to supervisor
• Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with Company’s requirements
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company’s policy
• Maintains area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition
• Follow all Company policies, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security
• Fill in as needed in other departments

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; certificate in relevant discipline is a plus
• 2+ years experience machining
• Must be able to perform basic production shop mathematics
• Must have knowledge of machining principles and various machining technologies
• Must be able to perform tool changes
• Must be able to operate precision measurement tools
• Must have strong understanding of standard CNC controllers
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability
• Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be able to manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills

• 1st shift is 6:45pm-3:15pm Mon-Fri $16/hour

• 2nd shift is 2:45pm-11:15pm Mon-Fri $17/hour

• 3rd shift is 10:45pm-7:15am Sun-Thur $17/hour

Job Requirements:

• No jewelry can be worn on the production floor at the main building. You can wear jewelry in the assortment dept.

Position: 2nd Floor Production Support – Cutting Table

Must have experience in CNC or Cutting Station experience.

Location: Downtown Terre Haute, IN

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Planning

A. Review current assignments and plan their execution for maximum efficiency.

B. Confer with immediate supervision to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

II. Execution

A. Read designs and interpret information to fulfill basic support functions.

B. Become familiar with current materials, basic methods and procedures.

C. In process and final inspections as required to fulfill assigned duties.

D. Operation of CNC cutting equipment per established guidelines. This includes the download of pre-loaded files and file changes.

E. Light maintenance of cutting table equipment and daily cleaning.

F. Cross-train to serve as backup for multiple support functions.

G. Operate various heat/electrical testing equipment.

H. Completing necessary records associated with position including, but not limited to, quality assurance forms.

I. Ensure product identification and traceability.

J. Accomplish all required training, protocols and policies relative to, but not limited to machine guards, maintenance repair, product tagging and time sensitive materials.

III. Accountability

A. Accountable for knowing current production schedule and priorities.

B. Accountable for inventory maintained at your assigned workstation.

C. Accountable for the accuracy and timely/accurate completion of documentation.

D. Accountable for knowing and following Company quality policy.

E. Accountable for accurate identification of product.

F. Accountable for recommending new or different processes, procedures or materials that could improve the products or reduce product costs.

G. Accountable for any tools and materials issued to you and the prompt reporting of damage to the same.

H. Accountable for executing assigned tasks in a safe manner and according to company policy.

I. Accountable for compliance with company policies and rules, regular attendance and the efficient use of time and materials.
