Description:

The Senior Material Handler is a functional role that includes material handling and inventory control tasks to ensure all inventory is received, maintained accurately, and provided as required to internal customers using various indicators or signals.
Duties
-
- Timely processing of physical and ERP goods receipts including documentation and physical condition verification
- Verification of items picked for accuracy and condition
- Timely returns processing
- Process stock transfers and material requests
- Replenish production areas and other areas as assigned
- Cycle counting as assigned
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Perform physical and ERP goods movements
- Generate work orders from ERP if applicable
- Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts as applicable
Job Requirements:
Required Experience
- 3-5 years related disciplines experience required
- Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, stock picker, reach truck) preferred, if none, ability to become certified required
- General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS required
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environment
- Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description

2nd shift: 2pm -10pm
The Driver is a functional role that includes the operation of shuttle and tractors to move trailers as needed for operations and the loading and unloading of trailers. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and or be certified to assist within other areas of Warehouse Operations including material & inventory, Distribution, Traffic, or others as assigned.
The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure timeliness of execution, appropriate safeguards to protect during transit, and / or other. Interacting with Distribution, Operations, and Material Control to identify and meet business requirements
Duties
- Drives company vehicle between sites moving material as instructed (tractor, shuttle, Dock Truck, Van, and / or Car may be required), obeying all local traffic and safety laws.
- Maintains FMCSA compliance at all times including logs, paperwork, safety, and records. This also includes obtaining / maintaining DOT Hazmat endorsement.
- Timely loads and unloads freight as required using forklift and / or other material handling equipment.
- Protects vehicle contents from damage at all times, and ensures all loads are appropriately labelled and documented correctly. Reports any damage or maintenance issues to the vehicles or loads immediately.
- Follows all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks.
- Fuels vehicles as needed.
- Works collaboratively with sending and receiving sites making sure all business needs are met.
- Communicates challenges timely and effectively bringing related improvement ideas to leadership.
- Maintains a neat and safe work environment and engages in promotion of a safe work environment.
- Works overtime as required to meet business needs.
Job Requirements:
Four years related disciplines experience required
Class A License required
Current Commercial Driver’s License required for any vehicle greater than 26,000 pounds
DOT Physical including drug screen
Pass MVR requirements
Defensive driver training as required
