Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Industrial/Mechanical Maintenance Technician Trainee to join our maintenance team on the evening shift. This is a hands-on, jack-of-all-trades position supporting the repair, maintenance, installation, and improvement of industrial equipment and facility systems.

The successful candidate will work with a variety of equipment, including pumps, electrical machinery, hydraulics, air and water systems, cranes, and other mechanical components used in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from the Maintenance Manager and perform repair and maintenance work on equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools.
  • Assist with new projects, including installing water lines, welding, and light fabrication work.
  • Support the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing machinery.
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
