Remedy is looking for Rework technicians at one of the leading manufacturing companies of secure electronic payment terminals and point of sales systems in South Jacksonville!

Shift: 9:00am-6:00pm

Pay: $16.00

Job Summary: Reprogramming and uploading files to credit care readers, payment terminals, and other similar devices.

• Be able to utilize production and maintenance tools and equipment such as proprietary manufacturing system (training provided), electric screwdriver, compressed air system, ionizing air gun, torque gauge/tester, testing system & equipment (training provided), label printer, electric scale, scanner, digital calipers, pallet jacks, Windows PC, etc.

Metal Fabrication Shop located in West Jacksonville. 

The Press Brake Operator will use machines to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates to produce metal parts for manufacturing and production. 

Press Brake Operator Job Duties: 

• Measuring: The ability to accurately read and interpret measurements from a tape measure is required.
• Setting up the machine: Review blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to understand what part to manufacture
• Selecting the right tools: Choose the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings.
• Positioning the metal: Place metal plates and sheets onto the press brake machine.
• Operating the machine: Bend, shape, or cut the metal according to predetermined specifications.
• Inspecting the product: Check the metal while shaping it and ensure the final products are free of defects.

$18-22/hour

Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

Now hiring Industrial Band Saw Operators for a metal fabrication shop located in West Jacksonville. A saw operator uses saws and a variety of machines to cut wood and other materials. 

Industrial Band Saw Operator Job Duties: 

• Measuring: The ability to accurately read and interpret measurements from a tape measure is required.

• Setup: Set up and inspect equipment, install blades, and adjust the saw machine for each job.

•Maintenance: Maintain the saw by sharpening blades, replacing worn blades or bands, lubricating or cleaning the machine, and checking and replenishing fluids.

• Operation: Guide workpieces against the saw, saw by hand, or use automatic feeding devices to cut the material.

• Quality: Ensure that the material meets quality specifications and that quality demands are achieved.

• Safety: Ensure that the work area is safe and clean, and that the equipment is safe to operate. 

Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

$17 - 18 per hour
