Day Shift– Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm
Pay: $33-$36 DOE
Code Welder Duties:
Code Welder will Plan, lays out, assembles, installs metal parts, equipment, and products according to company specifications and blue prints. Position requires a wide range of welding skills including light tacking to heavy flat, up weld, and overhead weld according to ASME Codes. Operate a variety of power tools including, but not limited to saws, grinders, drills, welders, and overhead cranes. Must be able to comply with company safety policies, keep work area clean, and possess the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
Other related duties as assigned.
Code Welder Essential Job Functions:
- Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible

Must have the ability to pass the ASME Vessel Code Weld test
- Must have experience fitting and welding pressurized vessel/pipe
- Must have extensive knowledge of Mig and Stick welding operations
- Must have the ability to short arc, spray arc, and use a torch proficiently
- The ability to set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment such as electric arc welders, and gas welders
- The ability to read and independently work from plans, sketches, diagrams, and blue prints
- Knowledge of occupational; hazards and safety precautions applicable to the welding trade
- Support Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects
- Support the efforts of Lean and Continuous Improvement teams
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
- Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirement
Job Requirements:
Code Welder Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent or attaining GED within the first 12 months of employment is required
- Successfully Pass a 3G plate test and 6G pipe welding test
- Read and follow blue prints
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered
- 3 years minimum of related work experience

Direct Hire opportunity!!
Rotating Schedule. – Must be able to work Day and Night Shift (6:30am (PM) – 7:00pm (AM))
12-hour shifts with alternating days off, and rotate between night and day shifts every 12 weeks
Pay for this role is $25.00 hourly plus $4.00 for shift differential when on night rotation
Chemical Manufacturing Operator follows established procedures to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products. The Operator follows procedures that are set forth in the form of batch records and work instructions. This person completes a variety of duties: in addition to operating chemical processes, the employee may perform setup, cleaning of equipment, waste disposal, emergency response, warehouse activities, maintenance, and clean-up activities needed to facilitate general operations and regulatory compliance.
Chemical Manufacturing Operator Duties:
- Uses protective equipment (PPE) as needed to prevent exposure to dangerous chemicals
- Follows established procedures as described by Batch Records, GEN’s and Work Instructions and OPI’s to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products
- Follows established procedures as described by SOP’s and other operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment that complies with safety and environmental rules and regulations
- Transfers raw materials, finished products, wastewater, waste solvents, and other wastes between tanks, drums, and shipping containers using pumps, pressure and other equipment; handles solid chemicals as chemical intermediates, products and waste
- Labels hazardous waste containers as appropriate to maintain compliance with labeling regulations and times.

Mechanical Drafter/Designer Duties:
- Provide 2-D drafting, 3-D modeling, and 3-D assembly support to the manufacturing and engineering departments for tooling design related to new product introduction.
- Perform necessary design calculations involving parts and materials, machine tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Validate component and assembly designs with engineering and other departments through design/peer reviews.
- Ensure that appropriate background information such as past designs, materials specifications, and governing code requirements has been researched and incorporated into the design effort.
- Perform necessary design calculations for the project, and, ensure that calculations performed by others are accurate.
- Determine material quantities and specifications for the project.
- Coordinate activities with other disciplines involved on the project.
- Attend progress briefings and coordination checks to discuss the engineering effort and project status.
- Document all design criteria, calculations performed, and decisions made.
Qualifications include:
- Expert user of the CAD system, particularly in the areas of 2-D drafting and 3-D solid modeling and assembly.
- Requires the ability to devise new approaches and solutions to problems identified.
- Must have a good working knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing principles, techniques, and applications.
- Excellent working knowledge of part fabrication, manufacturing practices/processes, GD&T and statistical tolerance stack analysis, along with the ability to apply that knowledge to part, assembly or tooling design.

- Associate Degree in Drafting Technology
- At least 5 years of experience in the engineering drafting and design industry with at least 2 years of mechanical drafting experience using a CAD system.
- Using CAD software - working with NX and Teamcenter is a plus.
- Training/coursework in GD&T is a plus.
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel.
