Employbridge is looking for an experienced fitter/fabricator. The Fitter/Fabricator will be responsible for executing all tasks and technical aspects of assigned projects to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality while working with the Shop Foreman. This position will be responsible for the fitting of all components working from engineered drawings.

Shift: 1st Monday-Friday

Pay: $18-20/hr (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Fabricating & Designing build fixtures.
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
• Setting up metal working machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, and saws.
• Reviewing drawings prior to the beginning of fabrication.
• Perform quality checks on completed products.
• Conforms to Sylvan and OSHA safety procedures.
• Complete inspection reports.
• Fabricate components in a timely manner to maintain schedule.

Job Requirements:

Education Requirements

• Vocational training certificate or College degree.

Experience

• 2-5 years’ experience as a Fitter/Fabricator.
• AWS welding certification.
• Proficiency in using shop equipment.
• Hi-lo License.
• Rigging and overhead crane use.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive “can-do” attitude.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Automotive Conveyor Fabrication a plus.

Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am

Pay: $20-$22/hr

Employbridge is seeking and experienced Plastic Injection Mold Die Setter to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI.

The purpose of the Die Setter is to set sample and production tooling, auxiliary equipment and make work station ready to run. Maintain tool condition and perform basic tool preventive maintenance. Assist as directed by Foreman. Die Setter as instructed will follow and enforce all company standards, policies, and instructions. When appropriate supervise shift personnel and help maintain the process parameters. Set and start-up machines as required and train directed.

Shift: 8:00am -4:00pm

Pay: Up to $24 per hour

The Foreman in tool changes will instruct the Die-Setter. Once information is received the diesetter will remove the finished tool from the press and set-in the new tool, water up and add all required auxiliary equipment per process set-up sheets. Will oversee that the entire area is ready for production by coordinating with custodian and material handler. Write and update process set-up sheets. Will perform preventive maintenance as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and set-up sample and production tooling.

• Read write set-up information on Process set-up sheets.
• Perform machine and tool preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assist Foreman as instructed.
