There is about 85%TIG and 15% MIG. The company make industrial ovens that will hold racks of meat and cook 8,000 to 10,000lbs of meat. Shift and Pay for this Welder Position:

  • 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm $23.00hr

 Job Duties as an experienced Aluminum an Steel Welder for ResourceMFG:

  • Focus of this position is producing steel parts in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Responsible for any fabrication necessary and on time production of parts
  • MIG welding, tack up, grinding, cleaning, as well as assembly of skids and tanks
  • Accurately measure and cut different materials on different machines
  • Clean all slag, burrs, weld spatter, and repair any discontinuities in the materials, or the finished product

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications to be a successful Aluminum and Steel  Welder for ResourceMFG:

  • 1 year work experience
  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Good attention to detail
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16”
  • Basic ability to interpret sketches & blueprints
  • Proficient with hand tools i.e., Angle grinder, weld pliers, clamps, drills, impact, bench grinder, and air die grinders
  • Successfully complete the on boarding training program

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities to be an ideal Aluminum and Steel Welders for ResourceMFG:

  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply a WPS
  • Capable of passing a steel plate GMAW fillet weld break test in the 2F position, buttons test, 1G GMAW test, 3G vertical up, 3G vertical down
  • Must be able to set up oxyfuel and plasma torch as well as be able to make clean square cuts, straight cuts, beveled cuts, and wash welds
  • Ability to cooperate with a team and take directions from supervisors as well as level II and level III welders
  • Capable of operating the band saw, ironworkers, bench grinder, and port-a-band
  • Must be competent enough to determine if their own work is complete and correct as specified by instructions, drawings and specifications
  • Work independently or cooperatively with little hands-on instructions
  • Must have a solid understanding of weld joints and weld symbols
  • Ability to interpret blueprints / engineering sketches and correctly assemble them
  • Must be able to perform routine machine maintenance and trouble shoot issues
  • Ability to operate welder and replace gas cylinder or other parts
  • Ability to use hand and power tools

Job Description for the Enclosure Technician:

This individual will be responsible for supporting the Close out and Shipping department

  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Basic understanding of Shipping procedures
  • Individual must be able to operate hand tools (Drill, Impact Driver, rivet and nail gun)
  • Able to operate various types of lifts. (Stand up, Walkie Ryder, sit down and pallet jacks)
  • Receive and store, equipment and other incoming items, notify receptions on time to Inventory team.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Follow procedures for orderly and organized material storage with the possible need to use certain equipment such as a forklift or hand truck.
  • Documents and Processes the order shipment.
  • Comply with all procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods
  • Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
  • Ability to learn and operate overhead crane. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently stand, walk, pulling, climb ladder, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Essential Functions for the Assembly Technician Position:

  • Assemble all of the large mechanical components of a generator
  • Assemble PowerGen from the setting of mechanical components to the final wiring of the electrical components.
  • Put all the large mechanical components of a Generator in proper place.
  • Mount Genset on its skid using correct hardware and meeting torque requirements
  • Mount all stands to skid (ECC, GBC, SCR, disconnect) and setting said components in place.
  • Connect exhaust parts and install them using correct hardware, gaskets and meeting all torque requirements.
  • Make load cables using correct gauge cable, lug, and proper crimp
  • Make CAN harnesses, fuel line and block heater hose
  • An Assembly tech 2 will be responsible for mounting Genset on its skid using correct hardware and meeting torque requirements,
  • Mounting all stands to skid ( ECC, GBC, SCR,disconnect) and setting said components in place
  • Connecting exhaust parts and installing using correct hardware, gaskets and meeting all torque requirements.
  • This position will also be responsible for making load cables using correct gauge cable, lug and proper crimp, making CAN harnesses, fuel line and block heater hose.
