Quality Control Assistant  Needed in Santa Teresa

• 1st Shift 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring QMS procedures are followed.
Conduct incoming inspections and NG management.
Conduct random shop floor in-process inspection audits.
Conduct inspection reports and tests when required by customer.
Conducts first article and PPAP inspections when required by customer.
Operates measuring equipment when required.
Provide daily, weekly, monthly Quality metrics to supervisor
Serves as key contact for corrective actions.
Create quality focused training materials.
ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 Document control management
Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

1 – 3 years of progressive engineering experience in the Quality area
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Proficient use of desktop computer software
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Experience with problem-solving methodologies
Experience reading blueprints and using measuring equipment.
Core tools Knowledge (preferred)
Strong communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Pay Rate: $13/hr

Shift: 1pm- 10pm Monday - Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate receiving, loading, storing, and executing shipment orders. 
• Counts all products, take weight, compares to manifest and checks all shipments for damage, shortage, overage and any other discrepancies.
• Report’s shortages, damages and/or discrepancies on appropriate forms.
• Maximizes space usage. Properly and safely puts away items onto the racks, locations and or ready rows using company system and scripts.
• Ensures that the correct number and type of product are being handled. Transports orders to shipping locations or assigned doors with material handling equipment (pallet jack)
• Review markings, address on cargo and ensure correct reference labels are on the cargo.
• Compares quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Sign necessary documents to ensure record keeping.
