Job Description
- Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of trailers
- Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair
- Build, rebuild and repair all parts of trailer equipment
- Inspect, trouble shoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment
- Operate a forklift
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
- Must be ok with standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc
- Provide own necessary basic tools
- Must wear all required PPE
- Ok with working in all conditions

Job Duties
- Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs
- Remove, repair, or replace damaged body parts
- Grind, sand, buff, prime, and paint repaired surfaces
- Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair
- Operate a forklift
- Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment
- Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty
- Lock Out Tag Out, etc.
- Follow all SOPs
- Ability to wear all needed PPE throughout work shift
- Must have his/her own tools.
