Position Overview

The Electrical/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building high-quality irrigation systems, including pump stations and control enclosures. This role combines hands-on mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, technical interpretation, and quality testing in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.


Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build electrical sub-assemblies, control enclosures, and mechanical units
  • Mount components, perform field wiring, and install cable harnesses
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and CAD drawings
  • Load PLC and touchscreen control software
  • Perform functional and continuity testing using digital multimeters
  • Troubleshoot assembly and electrical malfunctions
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure product standards are met
  • Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and throughput
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on shop tools and equipment
