Key Functions:

• Perform Production Quality Inspections

Perform In-Process Inspections

Perform Final Inspections

Review all final documentation work order build package for completeness and accuracy prior to shipment. 

Assist in testing of assembly’s 

Participate in production meetings

• Program Auto Tester  Data Input

• Participation in customer meetings –

• Continuous improvement of existing procedures and processes – All personnel are required to participate in a continuous improvement effort to review and question procedures that pertain to their area.

• Prepare First Article Reports (FAI) on AS9102 form review & approval

• Assist in reviewing documentation and request Final source inspection.

• Verify, confirm and sign-off on job package paperwork and crimp settings

• In the absence of the production planner or when required, the Quality Control Inspector/Tester shall cover the production planner position.

• In the absence of shipping/receiving QA or when required, the Quality Control Inspector/Tester shall cover the shipping/receiving person in the areas of stock pulls, kitting, shipping and receiving.

• Create NCR’s for internal and customer as they relate to production

• Inspect and maintain F.O.D. Procedures 

• ISO/AS9100 involvement

• Inspect facility monthly for expired material or residual expired material on production floor.

• Clear understanding of all safety practices, and proper use of safety equipment

        Provided. 

• Is expected to seek assistance or clarification when needed from Supervisor.

• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Technical school or equivalent or on the job training
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Production & Quality Testing
• Blueprint reading and interpretation
• Knowledge of company Quality Management System, Procedures, Systems and Processes
• Mechanical ability and knowledge with production equipment
• Computer skills Required
• Ability to read drawings and wire schematics
• Clear understanding of the English Language Read, Write and Speak

Shipping. 

Reviews customer purchase order contracts to determine priorities and work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules. Ensures that every shipment matches the customer purchase order requirements and that paper copies are filed along with backup documentation, as specified.

• Requisitions and stores shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory.

Receiving. 

• Reviews supplier purchase order contracts to determine priorities and work assignments.
• Examines contents and compares records, such as packing slip or purchase orders to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase order contract and specifications.
• Is responsible for the update of inventory and cycle counting inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Supplier Follow-up – Expedites orders delivery status. Follows up on the disposition of all nonconforming material, and continuously monitors, documents and updates purchase order. Immediately notifies purchasing of any delay associated with any order.
• Documents rejections in the purchase order screen (Filemaker) and initiates NCR per CCI’s Procedure Control of Non-Conforming outputs P-870.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate with some college preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel
• Experienced in Internet Navigation
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Ability to read, write and speak English
