Duties and Responsibilities
• Reads work orders, follows blueprint drawings, schematics, and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, bonds, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.
• Solders and assembles critical components into printed circuit boards.
• Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points.
• Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as mechanical assembly using standard hand tools.
• Workmanship to comply with Military and Aerospace standards. Competencies

Reporting Relationship: The Ordnance Assembler 2 reports directly to the Production Supervisor. Job Function: Performs mechanical assembly and electronic assembly, associated tasks as directed by the Production Lead person in support in the manufacture of ordnance devices.
Company will be relocating to Oxnard in 2025, applicants are expected to continue working at the Oxnard location
Specific Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

QUALITY ENGINEER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring, updating and controls of QMS documentation, data and quality records.
- Monitoring of the assembly and molding processes.
- Perform internal audits per planned schedule.
- Assist by effectively interacting with production and other team members to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
- Responsible for creating, revising of APQP documentation (control plans, process flow diagrams, FMEA’s, work instructions, etc.) for customer programs.
- Attend internal / external program review meetings for product development, and launch events as required to support the APQP process.

Any spill or error in the handling of these materials may result in a significant loss to company. All work must be carefully and accurately performed and documented to meet requirements set by our customers and by the FDA. Anything less than the complete compliance in these areas may result in significant liability to the company and the company’s reputation.
Specific Responsibilities & Duties:
- Promotes a safe working environment and adheres to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, company safety rules, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in line with the company’s objectives and policies at all timeswith everyone in the department. No short cuts allowed
- Checks scale performance to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Locates and retrieves materials as listed on the Pick List.
- Weighs, labels, packages, and palletizes materials by batch as listed on the Pick List.
- Provides materials as needed for R&D, QC, and batch adjustments.
- Repackages and returns materials to proper storage locations.
- Transfers materials between locations.
- Completes and verifies records to document all work.
- Uses computer terminals to find and input information necessary to perform work.
