ResourceMFG is in need of a skilled Maintenance Technician for one of our Heat Treating facilities in Ferndale. 

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and systems. The maintenance mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining safe work practices and procedures, as well as assisting in the overall preventative maintenance program.

1st shift: 6a-2:30p (On-Call Emergencies)

Pay: 22$-29$ 

Location: 9 mile & Woodward

Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhaul on equipment, systems, and machinery in a manufacturing environment

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
• Perform equipment upgrades or replacements as needed
• Clean and maintain work areas and general building condition including floors, stairs, walls, etc.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Complete required training.
• Must be flexible to cover after hours and weekend issues, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history preferred

• Basic computer/data/communication skills required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; or experience and knowledge of the following basic functions: electrical; hydraulic; pneumatic; assembly; mechanic; carpentry; flooring; painting; etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities efficiently
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and assist others without supervision

SPECIFIC DUTIES

We are looking for a skilled CNC LATHE PROGRAMMER for our facility in Mount Clemons, Mi. This a JOB SHOP, type of work and the quantities ran range from 2 pcs to a few thousand pcs

Position: CNC Programmer

Location : 16 mile & Groesbeck

Pay: $21-30+ (Negotiable)

1st Shift: 7am-4:30 M-F

Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints
Perform off-sets
Change cutting tools
Program G&M Codes (Fanuc Controller)
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs

Job Requirements:

2+ YEARS OF CNC LATHE PROGRAMMING/SET UP 

Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required

Must have strong attention to detail

Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise

Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential

Should have a positive and professional attitude

Available to work weekends and overtime

Capable of standing for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time
