We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to manage essential financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift

Pay: $15 per hour

Accounting Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process company checks.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Categorize and record bank transactions, including purchases, expenses, deposits, and bank charges.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
• Perform general office duties and administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Accounting Assistant Job Requirements:

• Associate degree, technical degree, or professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. QuickBooks experience required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in accounting and office software applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
