Shift: days Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p

Pay: $21/hr. - $25/hr. based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating rotary cutting equipment Loading rolls of material and adjusting machine settings
• Reading work instructions and basic part prints
• Monitoring production speed, material alignment, and finished-part quality
• Taking basic measurements and documenting quality checks
• Troubleshooting minor equipment or tooling issues
• Completing preventive maintenance and notifying maintenance of larger problems
• Meeting production schedules while limiting waste and downtime Following safety, quality, 5S, and housekeeping procedures
• Standing throughout the shift and repeatedly lifting up to approximately 45 pounds

• Position: Machine Operator (Cold Heading)

About the Role

Cold heading is a metal manufacturing process that shapes wire or metal stock at room temperature using high-pressure dies and punches. This process is commonly used to produce fasteners and other precision components. As a Cold Heading Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Load wire and raw materials into production machines
• Change tooling when worn, damaged, or broken
• Complete production orders accurately and on schedule
• Label finished and semi-finished products and move them to designated areas
• Monitor production quality and achieve established quality targets
• Inspect manufactured products for defects and report any deviations to the Quality Department
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
