Experienced Assistant Warehouse Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Warehouse Mechanicto assist in performing upkeep tasks such as repairs and machinery cleaning. You will be responsible for assisting in applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate: DOE

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cleaning activities such as up keeping equipment/machinery.
• Assist in conducting weekly/ monthly PM on equipment.
• Assist in installing appliances and equipment.
• Assist in conducting maintenance task per request.
• Assist in inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues.

Job Requirements:

Requirements and skills

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Pre-Employment screenings.
