Shipping / Receiving Lead needed for a meat manufacturing company in Vernon 

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30pm- 12:00am

Job duties:  

• Leading training and supervising all associates
• Ensure all shipments are properly labeled
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments and communicate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods. 
• Maintaining records of warehouse inventory levels, sales, orders, and other data related to the warehouse operation
• Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders on invoices 
• Receiving and processing outgoing shipments by unpacking boxes, counting items, entering data into computer systems, and packaging items for shipment 
• Operate Forklifts, pallet jack and other material handling equipment as needed 
• Perform all duties and tasks related to maintaining a safe work environment 
• Report any food safety and quality issues/concerns to their manager and/or quality team
• Participate in all training sessions, including those related to safety and complex process 
• Report any problems to Inventory Control Supervisor 
• Perform all other tasks as requested by management 
• Other duties may be assigned and subject to change in accordance with business needs

Job Requirements:

Requirements : 

• Resume 
• Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack & Sit-down, Stand Up Forklift 
• Steel toe boots 
• Able to work weekends and daily overtime if needed 

Sponge manufacturing company in Huntington Park is in need of Machine Operators 

Work schedule: Monday -Friday 7:00am -3:30pm 

Job Duties: 

• The slitter operator is responsible for the correct operation and function of the slitter machine
• Pre Operational check and the process of cleaning process at the end of the shift
• Notify a problem with the technical staff
• Check the quality of cutting process (accuracy, fill all production reports and follow all procedures.)
• Position operates one or multiple pieces of cutting equipment.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.
