This position is a Temp-To-Hire Opportunity!

Schedule: Shift A 7am-7pm / Shift B 7pm-7am (switches every 3 months) You will work 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off -repeat. Total hours of 80.5 hours, with 17.5 hours of overtime! 

Location: Everett, WA    

Pay Rate: $19.50-21.00 DOE

Quality Assurance Technician I Responsibilities:

• Perform quality checks on extrusion lines.
• Retrieve all necessary data for production documentation.
• Audit QA drawings and data point lists for errors or wear, update when necessary.
• Generate and update QC checklists for drawings.
• Maintain QC samples, drawings and fit to’s.
• Assist on lines or perform other tasks as requested by Leads, Supervisors or Managers. Production
• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Quality Assurance Technician I Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Understanding of QA processes; QA lab and its operation
• Knowledge of calipers, tape measure and square; their use, limitations, maintenance, and proper storage
• Mechanical skills and judgment needed to maintain operation within specs, making the correct adjustments and detecting malfunctions
• Good judgment in asking for help when needed
• Basic data entry skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, resourceful and a positive attitude.

CNC Lathe Operator Responsibilities:

• Studying blueprints and creating the design
• Cutting metal and manipulating it to build the project
• Performing regular maintenance on their machinery
• Managing computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment from setup to operation
• Producing parts and tools from different resources including metal and plastic
• Monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and leading test runs
• Overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery
• Running tests before the start of operations
• Programming and monitoring machines when assembling products
• Inspecting machinery at the end of each shift to identify parts needing repair

CNC Lathe Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.

• Operate multiple machines and set up while operating.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience working in a CNC set up setting.

CNC Lathe Operator Responsibilities:

• Can demonstrate ability to set-up, run, tear down 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC Mills and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environment.   
• Good Inspection Skills and Blueprint reading skills with ability to use all shop inspection tools.  
• Basic Troubleshooting skills and must be able to recognize production problems such as out-of-tolerance Machining, poor finishes, damaged or worn cutters, and tooling.  
• Ability to dial in a hole or Edge-Find and set Machine Offsets.  
• Basic understanding of G & M code.  
• Versatility across multiple machine centers is a plus.  
• Meets job standard times with minimal supervision. 
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.  

CNC Lathe Operator Qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to specified procurement and quality guidelines
• Put-away all raw ingredients and packaging supplies to the appropriate storage locations
• Pick and transfer raw ingredients and packaging supplies from warehouse storage to operation departments as requested
• Ensure proper rotation of raw ingredients, first expired – first out
• Return ingredients and packaging supplies back to proper storage locations after usage
• Transfer finished goods to rack locations and/or shipping dock
• Pick, following first in – first out, and ship finished goods via shuttles or direct to customer in accordance with all quality and regulatory requirements
• Effectively complete all of the above-mentioned tasks through an ERP application
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include dry, frozen, and cooler storage, and all receiving and shipping docks as well as the finished goods cooler
• Maintain strong working relations with warehouse and operations leads
• Monitor the accuracy of inventory locations and tags
• Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies and other issues to lead and manager as appropriate
• Practice safe forklift operating procedures
• Maintain food safety practices
• Monitor for safe load capacity on storage racks
• Monitor safe storage procedures to eliminate workplace hazards
• Other duties as required
