Ability to read and comprehend blueprints; understands process steps.

Position requires previous manufacturing experience and a stable job history.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

  • 1st Shift, needs to be flexible - hours may vary
  • Pay Range $28-$34 per hour, depending on experience.

 Job Description:

  • Understanding of PLCs, ability to access programs for troubleshooting purposes
  • Common knowledge of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
  • Maintains detailed documentation of service repair tickets and preventive maintenance tasks performed
  • Support Safety Program with facilities issues
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance and reports on general manufacturing equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors and rotating machinery
  • Work with production personnel to troubleshoot and understand mechanical problems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, check blueprints, repair manuals, and maintain parts catalog.
  • Maintain building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas systems
  • Contract with outside suppliers as required to support all above
  • Performs required inventory transactions to ensure accurate inventory of parts and supplies
  • Continually, informally assesses building, grounds, and machinery with respect to functionality, professional appearance, and safety
  • Assists Facilities manager with daily and special projects

ResourceMFG is seeking Chemical Manufacturing Operators 

Direct Hire Opportunity!!

Rotating Schedule. - Must be able to work Days and Night Shift  - 6:30am (PM) - 7:00pm (AM)

12-hour shifts with alternating days off, and rotate between night and day shifts every 12 weeks

Pay for this role is $25.00 hourly plus $4.00 for shift differential when on night rotation

Chemical Manufacturing Operator follows established procedures to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products. The Operator follows procedures that are set forth in the form of batch records and work instructions. This person completes a variety of duties: in addition to operating chemical processes, the employee may perform setup, cleaning of equipment, waste disposal, emergency response, warehouse activities, maintenance, and clean-up activities needed to facilitate general operations and regulatory compliance.

Chemical Manufacturing Operator Duties:

  • Uses protective equipment (PPE) as needed to prevent exposure to dangerous chemicals
  • Follows established procedures as described by Batch Records, GEN’s and Work Instructions and OPI’s to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products
  • Follows established procedures as described by SOP’s and other operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment that complies with safety and environmental rules and regulations
  • Transfers raw materials, finished products, wastewater, waste solvents, and other wastes between tanks, drums, and shipping containers using pumps, pressure and other equipment; handles solid chemicals as chemical intermediates, products and waste
  • Labels hazardous waste containers as appropriate to maintain compliance with labeling regulations and times.

  • High School graduation or higher
  • Must pass a basic math and reading assessment
  • Must be able to pass a job related physical
  • Prefer experience in a job that is indoor/outdoor and requires physical labor
  • Working in small teams
  • Reliable transportation

The job requires frequent work outside in all weather for short periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally push, roll and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee will be working in areas that requires the use of PPE including a respirator

  • Performs basic shaping process steps on medium difficult parts. 
  • Beveling – capable of fabricating polished, double, and off-angle asymmetric bevels
  • Blocking – pitch button, Norland transfer, steep singles, cold blocking, contacting, and alignment
  • Grinding – Steep radius, cylinder, tight wedge, continuous
  • Polishing – spindle, CP, double side, CNC polish
  • Slurry Maintenance - maintains and measures established Baume and PH levels
  • Pour pitch lap, cuts, and grooves lap
  • Advanced print reading skills – can read and comprehend all fabrication specs
  • Measurement skills include - Basic Zygo, understanding of fringe pattern, microscope, stereoscope, surface quality inspection, fiber light
  • Performs other duties as assigned
