Position Overview
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance and reliability of production equipment throughout the facility. This role ensures machinery operates safely, efficiently, and consistently to meet production goals. The technician will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement efforts across departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all facility equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and electrically controlled systems.
• Develop proficiency across all areas of the production line.
• Clean, disassemble, and reassemble machine components as needed.
• Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns.
• Make equipment modifications and conduct test runs.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Assist in developing SOPs, manuals, and equipment guides for internal teams.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
• Vocational or community college degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations related to plant operations.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot facility systems and equipment.
• Skilled in performing system checks and diagnostics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Proficient with test meters and diagnostic tools.
• Mechanically inclined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to navigate all areas of the production facility.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring.
• Extended periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to access and service machinery.
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Rate: $23.00–$35.00
• Shift Premium: Additional $1.00/hour for night shift

Position Summary
The Machine Operator will work in a fast-paced fabrication and production environment, operating and setting up a variety of metalworking equipment. This role includes machine setup, production operation, quality inspection, and basic equipment maintenance.
The ideal candidate has prior fabrication experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up fabrication machinery including roll bending, tube bending, shearing, brake forming, sawing, and plate rolling equipment

Assist with programming or adjusting machine settings to meet production specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine proper setup and material requirements

Perform machine setup, run production parts, and complete routine preventative maintenance
-
Inspect finished products using measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure accuracy and quality
-
Maintain production logs and report equipment or quality issues promptly
-
Coordinate workflow with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Job Requirements:
Qualifications

Previous experience operating metal fabrication or industrial machinery required

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Experience with brake presses, roll benders, or similar equipment preferred

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
