Parts cleaner needed in Dayton!

 

Looking for a mechanically inclined helper to work in the tear down Department. You must have at least 2 or more years or experience working in a manufacturing environment. Must be familiar with tools, shop math is a must and you must be willing to learn and stay busy. This position will require keeping the shop clean as well.

 

If you have balance and rotating experience and/or Turbine knowledge this will be a huge plus. This is a first shift position working Mon-Fri and Saturdays as need with lots of OT. Pay will start at $18 depending on experience.

Structural Welder/Fitter 

Structural Welder/Fitter for our Centrally located client manufacturer of complex engineered skids. Responsible for various types of weld/fit procedures, weld/fit and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

Job Summary

3-5 years experience Structural Welder/Fitter

Pay: $25-$29 DOE

Shifts: 1st - 6am - 4:30pm; 2nd - 5pm - 2:30am (flexible 10-hour, 12-hour shifts/Saturdays required)

Duties:

Structural welding in a shop environment

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, including the ability to read weld symbols

Knowledge of wire and filler materials

 

Fit and tack material required from drawings.

Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

Exceptional math and measurement skills

Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools

Qualified candidates must pass weld test 3G & 4G MIG/Flux-core and Fit test

Wiring Technicians needed in Webster!

Candidate must be able to provide support for the staging, wiring, testing, check-out, Factory Acceptance Testing, system breakdown and make ready for shipment of Triconex control Systems. Candidate should be experienced with reading electric schematics and wiring diagrams. Candidate must be familiar with Triconex Cabinet, hardware and system layout. Candidate must be able to perform cabinet and panel wiring, understand check-out and the use of test and calibration equipment. Candidate should have troubleshooting experience with system powering, cabinet/panel wiring and control systems hardware. Must have training and knowledge with Triconex hardware and systems. Person must understand control panel cabinet wiring standards, National Electrical Code, and be able to understand ISO procedures and follow any contract requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

1) Conduct in-process and final inspections on machined parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other metrology equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish against engineering drawings.

2) Be able to read machined drawings (ASME Y14.5).

3) Perform first article inspections to confirm initial part quality before full production runs.

4) Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records, including non-conformance reports, inspection reports, and outsourcing reports.

5) Report any quality deviations of any kind to the Machine Shop Manager immediately.

6) Inspecting raw materials issued to the shop.

7) Must always ensure the correct material has been issued, and meets print guidelines for production.

8) Regularly calibrate measuring tools and equipment to maintain accuracy.

9) Keep a clean inspection area at all times.

10) Must properly store inspection equipment when not in use to assure it is not damaged or defective.

11) Perform basic maintenance on inspection equipment before and after use and report any defects.

12) Documentation and inspection of hydrostatic testing.

13) Control and Documentation of Outsourcing processes, coating, grinding, etc.

14) Closing out company documents properly once Job has been completed.

15) Carrying out tasks set forth by the Machine Shop Manager.

 

 

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years in machine shop environment, preferably rotating equipment.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in QC position.
  • Familiar with CNC/Manual Lathes/Mills and VTL’s preferred
  • Proficient organizational skills a must
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore mics, etc..
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and terminology
  • Quality assurance knowledge preferred
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail during inspections

WORK HOURS: Full time, Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Overtime and weekends as determined by project/company necessity.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to move and or lift parts up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, lift and carry
  • Must pass physical and drug test

SCHEDULE:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
