We are looking to hire an Experienced Help Desk Analyst in Brownsville TX! 

 

This is a temporary assignment for up to 6 months, must have previous experience. 

As a Helpdesk Analyst you will be responsible for providing support within the Brownsville Warehouse. Your role will require direct interaction with various levels of employees, requiring a strong sense of customer service and empathy when dealing with internal customers. This role will be a central point of contact for all end users.  

 

Pay: $24-$28 per hour, paid weekly! 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday – Possible on call for emergencies

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Triage, troubleshoot and resolve all Network based and user issues in Brownsville and Mexico (software and hardware).

  • Support corporate IT with troubleshooting and resolution of business enterprise software and hardware issues. 

  • Assist in data backup and storage procedures.

  • Rebuild and set up new PCs and laptops for company users.

  • Maintain accurate asset list and network map for Brownsville facility. 

  • Install new hardware / software as required. 

  • Provide assistance to corporate IT projects as required. 

  • Provide occasional remote assistance to Mexico facility

  • Perform Cabling tasks such as Punch Downs and Network Terminations.

  • Troubleshoot and Identify Potential Network Issues on LAN and Wireless LAN.

  • Create and Troubleshoot Basic VLAN and Subnetting.

  • Help Build and Configure Network Switches under the supervision of Network Engineers.

  • Create and Manage Windows Servers in VMWare.

  • Create Corporate Desktop and Laptop Images for distribution.

  • Create, manage, and deploy Patches via the Corporate Patching System.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-5 years of experience as an IT / helpdesk or technician. 
  • Associates degree in PC or Network curriculum required. Bachelors preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Ability to follow through and manage conflicting user priorities.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft servers / networks and PC systems.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 in the event of an emergency

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.  Must be able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods; able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis; able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Brownsville area! 

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Your role will include performing regular inspections, carrying out preventative maintenance, and fulfilling other assigned duties.

Pay: $13.25/hr paid weekly!

Schedule: 3rd shift 10pm start time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as needed.
  • Read repair manuals and liaise with other professionals.
  • Diagnose machine problems using PLC ladder logic.
  • Read and interpret wire schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service.
  • Utilize multi-meters, gauges, calipers, and various tools.

 

 

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in machining, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems is preferred.
  • High School Diploma and associate degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Shift flexibility to work 8-to-12-hour days, holidays, and possibly weekends.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, twisting, and physical dexterity.
  • Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
