Maintenance Mechanic
A large formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking for a maintenance mechanic to join their team.
Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shift rotating days Mon-Fri 3:00am-3:30pm with possible overtime daily
Pay: $35/hr

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair production equipment as follows:
- Doboy packaging equipment (H-400/” J” Wrappers)
- Cartoners (ADCO)
- Enrobers; Bottomers; Cooling Tunnels; Extruders
- Plant support equipment required
- HVAC/R; Pump Systems, Steam Boilers, etc.
- Perform manufacturing and facilities repairs
- Perform manufacturing equipment changeovers
- Perform all manufacturing and facility equipment PMs as required
- Use of all basic hand tools applicable to the position
- Follow all code and regulatory requirements
- Complete documents as required by department guidelines
- Practices and follow safety requirements
- Comply with all SOP’s and GMP’s Essential Skills and Experience
- Must have a working knowledge of the following trades:
- Metal Fabrication/Welding (s/s)
- Electrical/ T/S /Control/ PLC
- Mechanical
- HVAC/Refrigeration
- Packaging
- Machining
- Knowledge to perform manufacturing and facilities repairs, including manufacturing equipment changeovers
- Ability to use hand tools
- Medium to heavy physical effort required for a variety of physical activities to include walking, standing, squatting, and lifting
- Achieve passing score, 70%+ on mechanical/electrical written test
Job Requirements:
- Ability to multi-task and efficiently handle multiple priorities
- Able to work in a team environment
- Trade School required
- 5-7 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Experience in food processing environment required

The Soldering Technician position is responsible for utilizing soldering tools to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Ultrasound Transducers.

Job Description:
- Completes transducer repairs according to work order and quality procedures, including working with repair team to perform all repairs against due dates and lab metrics
- Maintains probe files and accurately documents probe repair process including, but not limited to, recording interim quality checks and/or any issues with repair
- Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to supervisor
- Supports repair team in the evaluation of probes as equipment enters and leaves the repair lab, including documentation of evaluation, testing for proper functioning, troubleshooting, and identification of equipment failures
- Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per ISO:13485 2016 standards and the Company's Quality Management System
- Demonstrates success and a passion for servicing and learning new technologies
- Identifies improvement opportunities to processes and offers applications and solutions to promote optimal efficiency
- Works professionally and efficiently with all levels within the organization
- Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Description
- Assembly and disassembly tasks on electronic Ultrasound devices, works on subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, power supplies, frames, cables and harnesses
- Use of hand and power tools, jigs, etc.
- Self-inspect work in process and completes tasks to stay on track with work assignments and daily output goals.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble devices according to assembly instructions and specifications.
- Installing components, units, sub-assemblies and repairing as needed Conduct testing of devices when needed.
- Harvest and build subassemblies as needed.
- Complete rework and modification of assemblies and devices with clear understanding of the functional operation of items being assembled.
- Complete paperwork necessary to track jobs, inventory and quality purposes
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, vendors and guests
- Demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external communication and demeanor
