Operates and maintains CNC lathe and CNC milling machines.• Reviews work instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.• Maintains part production at machining center.• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Skills Required• Training and experience in the operation of CNC machines including horizontal and/or vertical and/or lathes.• Must be proficient in using everyday machinist tools (calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc....) • Must work well as part of a team.• Must be prompt and dependable.• Self-starter; calm under pressure• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety• Solid written and verbal communication skills• Proficient in math• Basic computer skills• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive task.

Job Requirements:

Training and experience in the operation of CNC machines including horizontal and/or vertical and/or lathes. • Must be proficient in using everyday machinist tools (calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc....) • Must work well as part of a team. • Must be able to stand, bend, twist for 8 hours.  Appropriate PPE Required 

Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for 8 hours. 2 years of recent manufacturing experience required. Train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift- Tuesday - Friday, 10 hour shift.
