• Able to use basic hand and power tools

Job Description:

• Installation and wiring repair on electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.
• Performs supervised new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
• Follows "as built" sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams blueprints.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; effectively operates/maintains hand conduit benders and pipe threaders.
• Pulls wiring through conduit without damaging or chafing wires.
• Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.
• Connects wiring to basic electrical components such as lighting fixtures and heaters.
• Performs simple installation of apparatus such as switches, receptacles, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Connects power cables to equipment and installs grounding leads.
• Learns how to test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as multimeters.

Load, unload, put-away, stack, pick, stage palletized material using forklift

-Ability to work quickly and accurately

-Ability to scan barcodes and operate scanning computer

-Verify product labeling and inspect pallets and containers

-Properly scan all movements of material inbound and outbound

-Working knowledge of material handling and stock methods

-Perform daily lift truck inspection

-Computer literate. Prior SAP scanning experience a plus
