Job Summary

The Account Manager will actively lead and support the customer relationship through all transactions, support, troubleshooting, and overall voice of the customer. The Account Manager will ensure that all customers are provided with world class support through quick response time, clear and concise feedback, and an overall entrepreneurial spirit to ensure we exceed expectations and solve problems our competition are unable to solve. Additionally, the Account Manager shall ensure that all customers are aware of our capabilities and desire to support the overall market.

Value Drivers

Lead the product lines through the 3 Value Drivers:

  • Productivity à Key contributor to share industry and customer needs in order to identify Productivity opportunities
  • Price à Execute Value-Based Pricing methodology while maintaining majority market share
  • New Business à Collect and distribute New Business opportunities within the Business Unit based on direct customer feedback

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountable for daily and weekly bookings targets by customer and market segment to ensure monthly outlook commitments are met.
  • AutonomousManager and execute to all customer required actions including but not limited to: Quoting, PO receipt, RMA, OOR, portal, and other customer actions.
  • Manage and dispute customer scorecards to ensure delivery and quality scores align both internally and externally for all assigned customers
  • No SilosAttenddaily BU and Production meetings to guarantee effective communication from both internal status and external communication are aligned
  • Foster Teamwork – Manage and coordinate the resolution to all customer complaints and/or non-complaint purchase order issues
  • Business Decisions Based on the Right Amount of DataGain/establish active knowledge of the capabilities, process, and future plans to effectively communicate with our customers
  • Draw People Together Cross Functionally– Provide guidance to and training of other employees as needed or directed
  • Data Driven – Maintain, monitor, and correct ERP data to ensure data accuracy
  • Fully trained in Export Compliance procedures and Technical Data restrictions
  • Collective Sense of Purpose– Manage assigned accounts and assigned backup accounts during colleague PTO
  • [S] Lead a team of greater than 3 Account Managers
  • [S] Lead customer visits both onsite and at customer location
  • [S] Provide our capabilities presentation to customers
  • [S] Manage through Simple Metrics that are both visible and actionable by the team
  • [S] Establish Focus and Priorities with the team
  • Employees primary duties require him/her to use discretion and independent judgement

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensure Compliance with EH&S, Trade Compliance, Ethics and Business Conduct, Quality Policy and all established operating procedures.
  • Ensure department procedures and employee behaviors are compliant with all governing federal, state, local and corporate regulations and the Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, the successful candidate must have:

  • Basic understanding of and ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
  • Experience in, and understanding of requirements of the AS9100 Quality System
  • Experience in the requirements related to the sale of FAA-PMA, TSO approved parts to distribution and the Aerospace Aftermarket
  • Defense or related industry experience with the understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) would be a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, judgment and influence skills, written and verbal.
  • Well organized, detail oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • Intermediate to advance proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, MS Word and Powerpoint
  • Able to work with limited direct supervision. Must exhibit a high level of motivation and a sense of urgency

 Education/Previous Experience Requirements

  • AS degree or equivalent: BS/BA in a technical or business field highly desired

Summary/Objective:    Human Resources / Safety Coordinator assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources and safety functions and duties. This role carries out responsibilities in some or all the following functional areas: benefits, training, employee relations, and development, executive administration, and employment.

 

Human Resources

 Administration of new hires paperwork, orientation, and training.

  1. Assists with job postings, updating job descriptions and coordinating interviews as required.
  2. Assists employees with reporting work related injuries and communicates with clinic for updates and provides injury updates to management.
  3. Processes all change of employment status as required, including those related to terminations.
  4. Processes all required paperwork for Leave of Absences and communicates to employees their rights to leave with the assistance of the HR Director.
  5. Responsible for maintaining and collecting insurance dues from employees while on leave.
  6. Processes personnel requisitions as required for new positions or fill-ins.
  7. Performs clerical duties as required, such as filing, distribution of memorandum & flyer.
  8. Assist with translating memos, forms, and other correspondence from English to Spanish.
  9. Assists with the coordination of employee events such as luncheons, Employee Appreciation Day, and Birthday’s celebrations.
  10. Takes pictures during company events to be shown on television in lunchrooms and may coordinate departmental pictures for annual company calendar.
  11. Assist with creating custom flyers or signs for employees’ events when needed.
  12. Orders name plates for cubicle.
  13. Update and post Employee Monthly Directory.
  14. Assists at Saturday’s Drum Circles.
  15. Assist with annual open enrollment of medical, dental, vision and Aflac benefits.
  16. Answers phone and communicate employees’ absences to management.
  17. Assist with distribution of holiday gift cards.
  18. Processes outgoing mail (when needed).
  19. Serves as back-up to HR Administrator and Payroll during absences.
  20. Must willing and able to stay current on State and Federal Employment Laws.

Safety

  1. Responsible for maintaining Safety Data Sheets updated to meet Globally Harmonized System Standards and ensures all binders in the factory are updated. Coordinate with Edgar Reynozo.
  2. Assists with coordination of Pulmonary Function Testing and Audio Testing.
  3. Communicates PFT and Audio testing results to employees and management and maintains log of all testing and results for compliance.
  4. Assists with updating OSHA training logs for required programs (Annual Hearing, PFT, Forklift Certifications, First Aid and CPR etc.)
  5. Filing training documentation and test results in training binders for easy audit.
  6. Assist during our annual employee safety training (English & Spanish)
  7. Processes all reimbursements for personnel protective equipment through accounts payable and maintains logs for proper record keeping.
  8. Takes safety meeting minutes for Safety Manager to distribute to Safety Committee.
