Early Day Shift Specialty CNC Plasma Cutter Tech

Hourly pay $20 to $24 Depending on Experience cutting various long stock

This premier Industrial and Precision Metal Fabrication Company works with OEM manufacturers in industries ranging from Oil and Gas, Retail Store fixtures, Commercial Baking Equipment, Conveyors, Medical and Medical Testing equipment, Telecommunications, NEMA Enclosures, Food & Beverage, Aviation, Commercial Transportation and Agriculture sectors.  This company offers excellent pay, benefits and development opportunities within a dynamic fast paced and quality environment.

Schedule is 6:30 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday.  Overtime as needed.

CNC Tube and Pipe Plasma Cutter Tech typical job duties:

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines designed for tube and pipe materials
• Programming: Write and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise cutting
• Material Preparation: Select and prepare materials for cutting, ensuring they meet required specifications and tolerances
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to design specifications using measurement tool
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary repairs to ensure optimal machine performance
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to discuss project requirements and modifications
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, including using personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any issues encountered during the process
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in efforts to improve efficiency and quality of production processes and suggest potential improvements
• Training: May assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures

• Recent working experience using a CNC plasma or laser cutter to cut and bend various long stock material from tubing, pipe, angle iron, U-channel, round & square bar stock.
• Working experience with a Bend Tech Dragon CNC Plasma Cutting Machine a HUGE PLUS!
• Excellent Safety awareness and accountability
• Mechanical aptitude
• Exceeds or meets target quality standards
• Team oriented
• Ability to work and stand up to 10 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Night Shift working 7p to 7:30a      

Week A - Work Mon, Tue, Fri & Sat then Off Sun, Wed & Thu. 

Week B - Work Sun, Wed, Thu then Off Mon, Tue, Fri & Sat.

$25.54 Hourly pay equals working the above schedule Annual Income is over 58K!

The night shift Production Line lead is responsible for insuring the production line is meeting production, training, communication with supervisors on problem areas, process improvements, line has raw material for production. The Line lead also covers vacation replacement, break / lunches when needed. Promote continuous improvement, coaching, mentoring in a safe working environment. 

Production Line Lead daily task:

• Line Leads foster key team dynamics, like… urgency, teamwork, accountability, ownership
• Communicates clearly and gives direction on shift assignments and tasks
• Active in Shift Team Meetings and participates in shift overlap meetings
• Demonstrates positive attitude, effective communication and gives effective direction
• Willing to accept direction and coaching for continual growth and development from Line Supervisor and Production Manager
• Effectively oversees production line activities and resources to achieve targeted hourly and shifts’ results in reliability, quality, safety and critical DMS
• Leads and assist in paperwork coordination and confirmation of daily production orders
• Acquires working knowledge of the operation of all Packing equipment
• Provides assistance with break and lunch relief to operators as needed
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of production schedule, communicates any changes to resource and all plant leadership
• Reviews Production paperwork for completion and legibility before submitting to QA Reviewer and Analyst
• Ensures and reinforces that all Production operating areas meet department appearance standards
• Review daily schedule for product and material availability
• Assist in Tracking shift results with systems and /or tracking boards  
• Understands Production Line Reliability Targets and keeps track of results
• Ensures equipment downtime is properly, recorded into production system(s)
• Works with resources to get information and detail to submit any work requests for defects on line

• A BIG PLUS if you have any experience with these machines; Fuji Sleeve labeler, Fillers, Cappers, FANUC robotic arms, T-TEK palletizer and A-B-C packaging machines like erectors and sealers
