We are seeking a Plant Controller for a direct hire role in Romulus, MI!

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $115,000-125,000 yearly

The Plant Controller directs financial activities for the organization by planning and coordinating all accounting operational functions. The Plant Controller manages the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results and prepares internal financial statements and other information for management vital to the decision-making process. The Plant Controller is responsible for supervision of the Accountant and Accounts Payable Coordinator.

Responsibilities

? Responsible for all accounting activities related to month end/year end close including, but not limited to: journal entry preparation, approval, and posting, financial statement preparation and analysis (system and excel), account reconciliation preparation and approval, review of financial statements, including variance analysis, with Director of Finance and President.
? Supervise daily activities of Accounts Payable Coordinator and Accountant and provide guidance with technical and procedural questions and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Includes development and monitoring of annual goals and objectives for the direct reports.
? Monitors AP and AR aging reports and works with processors to clear up past due items.
? Approves POs up to predetermined limit per workflow.
? Coordinate external audit activity associated with year end audit.
? Responsibility for fixed asset sub-ledger/general ledger activity in PLEX.
? Maintain lease accounting schedules and prepare journal entries.
? Work with manufacturing part numbers, process routings, bill of materials, engineering changes, monitor and establish standard costing, and prepare margin analysis.
? Monitor inventory (SCAR) transactions, posts monthly journal entry in PLEX, and reviews for reasonableness.
? Maintain high level reserve calculations for LCM and Slow Moving/Obsolete Material.
? Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
? Assists Director of Finance with various governmental, audit, or other external party information requests.
? Ensures compliance with internal controls.
? Maintain and administer company credit card program.
? Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
? Other duties that include, but not limited to, projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Job Requirements:

? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with seven (7) to ten (10) years of financial accounting management and supervision experience required. Public accounting and/or automotive experience preferred.
? CPA or CMA required.
? Strong analytical skills, independent problem solving skills, product cost experience, and strong oral and written communication skills required.
? Advanced use of Microsoft Excel required.
? Experience with fully integrated ERP systems a must with PLEX experience preferred (costing focus).
? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required.

We are seeking a Tool & Die Maker for a direct hire role in Romulus!

2nd Shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm

Pay: $32-37 per hour

The primary role is to continually monitor production throughput and act accordingly to maintain optimal equipment utilization. Applies technical knowledge to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools. Uses software programs and testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Applies reliability and maintainability data to determine proactive improvements to production equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, ensures compliance with engineering specifications and/or codes.  Duties may include but are not limited to:

Tasks

• Repair and PM for production assembly vibration welding holding fixtures and welder plates
• Perform PM for productions molds, as require.
• Perform in-press repair and modification of production molds including in-press PM (during the times when specific molds are not being run in production).
• Generate CAD/CAM data as required to support diemaker tasks
• Make t-nuts that are used on molds.
• Perform welding, heating and burning on tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures, as need for in press fix or PM
• Burn excess plastic from molds, tools, dies, and fixtures when required.
• Inspects by dimensional verification, any and all work performed to verify meeting specifications, as needed
• Repair production mold details such as ejector pins, core pins, and inserts.
• Repair production gauges for assembly operations.
• Repair production assembly pallets.
• Repair minor issues on production tooling and press tryouts to support production.
• Provide samples of tooling as visual aids for engineers as needed
• Troubleshoot new and existing pallets
• Maintenance of gages and holding fixtures
• Assist or be assisted by other trades as particular skills are required.

Job Requirements:

At least 1 year of tool & die experience is required

ResourceMFG has a CNC Operator in Livonia, MI

Pay Rate: $25-32/Hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

This position will comprise of running/operating a 5 CNC lathe cell.

Duties:

• Operate the 5 machine cell to complete order specifications
• Program the machine(s) as need to adjust specifications and tolerances
• Read prints, create and edit programs on Fanuc and Mitsubishi controllers
• Maintain inspection paperwork and monitor dimensions
• Maintain material inventory
• Machine maintenance as needed
