We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in orders, and maintaining shipping records. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30pm with possible OT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
- Inspect packages to ensure proper labeling and content accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of shipments, inventory, and materials.
- Assist with receiving and inventory control as needed.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment

About the position:
Operate CNC HAAS Milling or Lathe machine, CNC Lathe Okuma 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with OSB 300 L Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4- Axis and 5-Axis, working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
• Set up and tear down a work order on a CNC Machine.
• Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
• Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Must be able to work off of blueprints
• Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
• Maintain the machine within the scope of its ability.
• You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc. as needed to keep parts moving
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.

Shifts
