Our client is currently searching for an experienced Powder Coater to operate the powder coating booth and oven to finish aluminum parts, maintain consistent coverage and thickness for quality.

PAY: $19 to $21 an hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Read operational/service manuals and documentation – refer to as needed

Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained in proper working      order.

Read and follow instructions for each type of powder, based on manufacturer recommendations.

Run the complete daily start up and shut down checklists for the oven, booth and workspace.

Maintain the Powder Coating booth and workspace clean and orderly to avoid cross-contamination of colors.

Coordinate with Supervisors on work orders and priorities.

You are expected to keep up with production demand and request assistance when needed.

The goal is to provide quality finishes with minimal waste of material and supplies.

Job Description

• Assemble products with a high level of speed and accuracy
• Maintaining highest quality and keep up with demand.
• Perform assembly operations to build light fixtures and accessories.
• Assembly requires riveting using a compressed air rivet gun
• Siliconing parts, twisting on parts, cleaning finished products and packaging 
• Depending on skill, soldering of small electronic components for electronic assembly.
• Maintaining workspace and assigned tools 
• Familiarity with materials and components - we will train
• Continuous training and learning of new products and materials 
• Observe and follow safety rules and regulations specific to your work area.

• Experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred.

• Knowledge of basic tools, including, but not limited to hand tools, torque wrenches and drivers. 

• Knowledge of soldering tools, multi-meters a plus!

• Able to read and follow instructions and understand basic technical drawings.

• Good communication and positive attitude.

Physical Demands

The Sample Assembler must have ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 35 and 45 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting.

• Experience working with Okuma and HAAS machines
• Program, set up and operate CNC machine
• Able to perform set up and edits
