CNC Set-Up Operator – Aerospace Industry

Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Description

An established aerospace company is seeking experienced CNC Set-Up Operators to join our team. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented candidates who can support both production and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up CNC equipment from start to finish to produce First Article parts

• Run production by loading and unloading parts into machines

• Ensure production output meets or exceeds required volume

• Measure finished work pieces/parts using precision measuring instruments and fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications

• Document dimensions on in-process sheets as required

• Count and verify raw material blanks before starting production

• Work with supervisors or programmers to resolve machine malfunctions, production errors, or to obtain approval to continue production

• Assist with machine maintenance and repairs on production and plant support equipment

• Verify all related paperwork according to Job Traveler processes

Overview

The Forge Helper supports forge operators and production teams in the fabrication of forged metal parts. This entry-level position contributes to daily production goals by maintaining clean work areas, assisting with material handling, and adhering to established safety and quality standards. On-the-job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist forge operators with production tasks and workflow support.

• Handle materials safely and assist with furnace operations under supervision.

• Clean and lubricate equipment; sweep dies and remove scale and scrap.

• Support the setup of dies and tooling as directed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow work orders, shop travelers, and supervisor instructions.

• Comply with all safety, quality, and PPE requirements.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This role requires standing and walking for extended periods and working near hot forging equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

Industrial Painter

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing, coating, and finishing a variety of metal surfaces while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Functions

• Inspect parts and determine the painting work required.

• Identify and select the correct paint materials based on shop paperwork and specifications.

• Mix paints according to provided instructions or Technical Data Sheets.

• Perform minor sanding and surface preparation prior to painting.

• Apply epoxy, lacquer, resin, or other coatings to aluminum surfaces before applying the final color coat.

• Manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines.

• Collaborate with team members and coordinate workflow as needed.

• Paint efficiently on various surfaces and metals.

• Follow all safety regulations, including wearing protective masks and appropriate PPE during spray operations.

• Replace paint booth filters, including chromate and solvent-contaminated filters.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
