Pay: $30/hr.

This position will be responsible for installation/maintenance of all production equipment. Performing preventive maintenance on various machines in the headers, rollers, cleaners and all related areas.

*Responsibilities

·    Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery in, and used by the company including, but not limited to, checking oil, lubricating, changing filters, cleaning of such machines and equipment,

·    Maintain accurate records of work

·    Properly report problems and concerns about machines and equipment to appropriate people and departments, such as machine repair

·    Generally, keep machines and equipment in clean and neat appearance

·    Operate oil reclaimer to separate clean oil for reuse                                       

·    Do hook-ups to all production equipment such as transformer, heading machine, rolling machine, heat treatment machine, pipelines etc.

·    Trouble shooting and problem solving to all production machines.

Requirements:

·      Ability to read gages and interpret gage results                    

·      Possess current Hilo license, or qualify to obtain it                

·      Ability to understand functional aspects of machines

Position Summary

The Mold Change Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient installation, removal, setup, and changeover of molds used in rubber, plastic, or injection molding manufacturing processes. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, ensuring production readiness, maintaining equipment integrity, and supporting quality and safety standards. The Mold Change Operator works closely with production, maintenance, quality, and tooling teams to ensure seamless production transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes on injection molding and compression molding equipment according to production schedules.
• Remove, install, align, and secure molds using overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Conduct startup procedures and verify machine readiness prior to production runs.
• Troubleshoot mold installation issues and coordinate with Maintenance and Tooling departments as needed.
• Perform mold cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of manufacturing, machine setup, mold changing, or related industrial experience preferred.
