Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, annual maintenance rotation of company buildings and grounds.
  • Properly store, use and maintain company tools and equipment.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining the building and grounds neat, clean, free from clutter and safe from hazards, Perform maintenance repairs of buildings such as paint touch ups, minor repairs.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and other necessities.
  • Work maintenance projects; this will include coordinating and interacting with outside services, such as plumbers, electricians, contractors.  
  • Some flexibility on schedule when needed to keep noise and distractions to a minimum during production hours.

  • Dismantles, repairs and re-assembles gear boxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pumps, valves, furnaces, drives and all allied mechanical equipment when directed or when directly related to electrical trouble shooting. 
  • Dismantles repairs, and re-assembles electrical motors, relays. Timers and all allied electrical equipment. 
  • Possess working knowledge of hydraulic systems, air systems and be able to read semi-complex diagrams and troubleshoot working systems. 
  • Installs and repairs electrical conduit, cables, piping, tubing including all necessary connections, controls and grounding as directed. 
  • Possess working knowledge of dust and fume collectors and performs necessary repairs on these items as directed. 
  • Operates mobile lift truck and hoisting equipment

Hours: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

Pay $32 hourly can vary on experience

OVERVIEW:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to facility improvements, and preventive and corrective maintenance. The Maintenance Technician may complete required tasks and/or pursue external resources to complete those tasks, which may include planning, prioritizing, monitoring and inspecting the work of contracted vendors in the construction, modification, maintenance and repair of PRC buildings, facilities and equipment. Items may include air compressors, cooling towers, pump systems, test equipment, electric motors and test equipment infrastructure.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and perform basic service on all equipment, pumps, and motors; Daily walk-through of the PRC building to verify equipment and infrastructure is operating as expected to ensure PRC readiness; Follow a preventative maintenance program for the PRC facility with the goal of zero downtime; Ensure the building is always showable for management and customer tours; Complete repairs to equipment; Comply with hazardous material storage, use, handling and disposal requirements, as well as OSHA, building, fire, and other regulatory code requirements; Maintain accurate and complete facilities records; Provide regular project updates to management, including written and verbal, as requested; If test demand warrants, work with Test Technicians to test product until demand subsides; Perform all work neatly, with excellent craftsmanship, and in accordance with all safety policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facilities, addressing minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
  • Conduct basic carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, windows, and furniture, and painting and patching walls as needed.
  • Ensure common areas are clean and well-maintained, assist with waste management, and set up and break down indoor/outdoor areas and event spaces.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment and machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and replace faulty components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to management.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Now Hiring Several Maintenance Technicians for a client at the Port of Catoosa!

 Pay: $28-32/hour depending on experience

SHIFTS: 12 hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (rotating days and nights monthly)

REQUIREMENTS

Must have knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

  • Hydraulic mechanics, mechanical presses, and hydraulic presses.
  • Industrial mechanics and milling turner knowledge
  • Servomotors, hydraulic pumps, solenoid valve knowledge

JOB DUTIES

  • Read diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
  • Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Perform predictive and operational procedures.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  • Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
  • Plan, make decisions, and solve problems based on quantifiable information. 

Job Requirements:

Must have knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

Job Description:

Provide assistance to production crews in the maintenance of plant machinery, mechanical

equipment and building. Demonstrated competency in all maintenance and repair job skills and

abilities.

 

Essential Functions:

Ø Must be able to successfully weld and use a cutting torch

Ø Complete all Preventive Maintenance tasks accurately and completely

Ø Ability to perform rolling stock PM’s and major repairs without supervisory assistance

Ø Ability to obtain correct part numbers and parts descriptions from vendor and OEM parts sources

Ø Maintain an above average rating and history of quality work, while performing duties in a timely

and cost effective manner

Ø Demonstrated ability to utilize standard hand tools

Ø Demonstrate ability to identify all major components of all production and facility equipment

Ø Demonstrate the ability to identify every minor component of all production and facility equipment

Ø Demonstrate a working knowledge of all facilities support equipment including: compressors, air

dryers, baghouses and induction furnace water cooling system

Ø Demonstrate the ability to perform all core room machine PM’s and core box changes

Ø Ability to trouble shoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic related problems in a logical and timely

manner

Ø Ability to identify and basic trouble shoot Programmable Logic Controllers for various equipment in

the facility

Ø Keep tools clean and safe and wear radio at all times

Ø Work overtime as required

Ø Respond in a timely manner to work orders and management requests

Ø Examine a variety of machines to diagnose trouble and recommend repair

Ø Assist more experienced maintenance mechanics as assigned

Ø Follow all safety regulations and Company policies regarding safety

Ø Work around a wide variety of equipment, chemicals and machinery, must be aware of safety

    hazards at all times

Ø Maintain a good attendance record

Ø Keep work area clean and perform required housekeeping duties

Ø Inspect own work for visual defects

Ø Record data as required on all internal documents

Ø Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned Ø Complete all job skills testing as required

Job Requirements:

Skills or Experience Required:

  • Certified by the Department of Labor as an Industrial Maintenance person
  • Minimum of 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Must have High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be team-oriented.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Must be focused and have strong attention to detail.
  • Must have met the minimum requirements of the Work Keys Skill Assessment for the position.
