ResourceMFG is looking for a Welder/Fabricator in Imperial, PA
Pay: $20-27hr
Schedule: M-F 7a-3:30p
Responsibilities
- Weld steel subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M standards.
- Participate as an active member of the launch team implementing welding, painting, and assembly processes.
- Verify measurements and dimensions using rulers, measuring tapes, squares, and other measuring devices.
- Position and align components according to blueprints using tools such as hammers, pry bars, jacks, wedges, and other fabrication equipment.
- Mark and prepare materials for cutting, bending, grinding, and shaping.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and work instructions before and throughout fabrication to ensure accuracy.
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears.
- Cut, bend, grind, and modify steel components to required specifications.
- Develop templates and standardized methods for repetitive fabrication tasks to ensure consistent quality.
Qualifications
- AWS B2.1/B2.1M Qualified Welder certification required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience with MIG welding and steel fabrication.
- Knowledge of fabrication equipment and metalworking processes.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds regularly.
