Shift: 5:00am – 3:30pm

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, Friday as needed 

Pay: $16.00/hr

Essential Functions:

• Set up and run Finning machines to manufacture fin tubes.
• Read/understand prints and information provided in the shop traveler.
• Determining the correct tooling, fixtures and materials required to run the job.
• Setup and align machine using hand tools and gages to match drawing requirements.
• Troubleshoot machine during operation and make in-production adjustments to ensure product quality.
• Change out the components required for the tube size, fin height and type.
• Load/unload tubes and pipes. Load coils of metal fin strip on to feeder reels/drum.
• Run parts efficiently – to print – with a sense of urgency.
• Measures and inspect tubes to insure they meet the print and all quality requirements.
• Perform secondary operations as required during the Finning process such as welding, trimming etc.
• Load finished tubes on to racks for transporting to other departments.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 months relevant Machine Operator experience
• Attention to detail
• Able to use basic hand and power tools
• Basic math
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to identify problems
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to read ruler/tape measure

Job Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ensure product meets customer specifications
• Meet production standards
• Work in a team environment
• Accurate recordkeeping and quality documentation
• Inspection of product
