• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications.

• Machining of parts with automatic and semi-automatic mills, drill presses, lathes, sanders, band saws, etc., ensuring production targets are met.

• Work and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Participate in daily stand-up meeting to review department performance

• Use lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve processes such as 5S/6S, 8-wastes, standard work, one-piece-flow, problem solving, value stream, and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) machine changeover methods.

• Perform preventative maintenance and regular cleaning as required.
• Steele Toe or Composite toe boots/shoes required

Employbridge has an immediate opportunity for Entry level Machine Operators in the Albuquerque, NM area. These are full-time, entry-level machine operator positions with advancement potential. Paid on the job training!

• Full time:
• 2nd shift: M-F, 3:15pm-11:45pm, $19.00
• 3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs., 11:15pm-7:15am, $19.50

 Machine Operator duties:

• Operate injection molding machines.
• Perform top quality work within deadlines.
• Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Work effectively as a team contributor.
• Use the proper hand tools and equipment to manufacture the product.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and processes are followed.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

•  Ability to perform basic mathematical equations, read, and understand measurements.
•  Ability to read & understand part, component, and job instructions.
•  Ability to create and maintain record retention and retrieval systems appropriate for position.
•  Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
•  Experience with basic hand tools: drill press, grinder, cutting tools, pneumatic tools
•  Must be able to lift 40lbs.
•  Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and   lifting.
•  Documentation of High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•  Steel toe shoes.
