Job Responsibilities: 

• Follows Standard Work Process. Performs a specific task or a number of predetermined tasks in the assembly process.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to main product as it moves through the production line.
• Prepares parts for shipment.
• Notifies Team Leader of defective parts, equipment, tools, materials, nonstandard assembly work or other conditions, which hinder the assembly process.
• Ensures that the time, material and waste is minimized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties as an Assembler for ResourceMFG:

• Working in individual stations putting together intricate parts that make up a transmission
• Using hand tools and simple machines to put parts and gears into the transmission funnel
• Using various tests to make sure the transmissions are working properly
• Assisting supervisors with changeovers
• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
