CNC Lathe, Swiss & Mills Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift

Position Overview
This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who thrives on producing complex, high-precision components. You’ll program, set up, and operate CNC Lathe, Swiss, and Milling equipment while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. The position is available on both 1st and 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities
•     Program, set up, and machine a wide range of challenging components efficiently.
•     Review and process operations, including material sizing and workflow planning.
•     Create CNC programs for assigned operations.
•     Perform complete machine setups and verify readiness for production.
•     Establish appropriate in-process inspection procedures.
•     Machine both short-run and long-run complex component parts; perform on-machine deburring.
•     Select qualified personnel to assist with setups and production as needed.
•     Determine the most suitable machines for each job.
•     Collaborate with scheduling to ensure on-time delivery of all projects.
•     Monitor and document in-process inspection results.
•     Provide input for job estimating and quoting.
•     Communicate print or process questions to the Swiss Lead or account manager.
•     Identify proper deburring methods for all machined components.
•     Recommend and specify tooling purchases; design custom tooling when required.
•     Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
•     Identify and report nonconforming products or services.
•     Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills
•     5+ years of relevant machining experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•     Strong background machining complex components, especially in Aerospace, Medical, or Nuclear industries (preferred).
•     Experience with Citizen Swiss machines is a plus.
•     Ability to interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
•     Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•     Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
•     Ability to move throughout the facility as needed.
•     Ability to perform keyboarding tasks.
•     Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Machine Operator

An engine cooling systems manufacturer in Belmont, MI is looking to add a hard working machine operator to their team! Candidates will set up machinery and perform preventative maintenance on the machine.

Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday – Friday

Pay: $23.00/hr – $28.00/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

CNC Machinist, 5-axis, work with very tight tolerances. Machining is done at the end of build process, so there is a need for experience/accuracy. Candidate should be able to set up jobs, make edits, troubleshoot with little assistance.

Other Duties as assigned

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

We are hiring an Experienced  CNC Machinist LEAD (2nd shift) for a client in East Tulsa in a Climate controlled shop!

Pay $23 – $28 depending on experience

Shift 5:00AM – 3:30PM – Mon.-Thurs. and Fridays if necessary

Lead CNC Machinist requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading a team
• Must be able to do own set-ups
• Able to make own edits when necessary
• Familiar with both Fanuc and Haas
• Able to run lathes and mills.
• Knowledge with Esprit programming software is a plus.
