Responsibilities: • Maintain product quality by analyzing manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising testing methods and procedures. • Establish product quality documentation by writing and implementing quality assurance procedures. • Interact with the leadership group, production team members, and maintenance departments to improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety. • Manage Quality Control Program that ensures that product is inspected to meet acceptable safety quality standards. • Maintain and achieve internal quality targets and measurements. • Ensure Production and other support areas of the plant are maintained to the highest standards and in strict conformation to GMP standards. • Achieve quality targets and ensures accurate records of quality compliance. • Ensures the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of manufacturing areas. • Ensures consistency with quality standards, practices, and policies. • Support change efforts at manufacturing plant to improve and enhance quality systems. • Support training of quality procedures throughout the plant. • Communicate with production in regards to productivity status and discrepancy. • Perform other duties assigned by Executive Management to support the department. • Safeguards and maintains company equipment and property, including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). • Ensures all areas are kept clean at all times. • Attends all company training sessions; and other duties

Requirements:

• Two-three years’ experience in food manufacturing environment.
• Teamwork oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

• Great attention to detail and an exceptional multi-taker.

• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Must be able to taste all foods with no aversions or allergies.

• Excellent attendance and safety record
• Available to work weekends and mandatory overtime.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Able to meet physical demands in work environment as generally described below.

SUMMARYResponsible for all aspects of quality to maintain quality standards set by the Company.  This person is responsible for all Quality Assurance testing of finished product in accordance with North American Pipe’s standard procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Performs a variety of physical testing of product, including but not limited to; rubber ring testing, impact, quick burst, flattening, brabender, long term testing and all other required QA testing

1. Completes paperwork and reports as needed.

1. Uses a variety of tools and instruments to assess and inspect product.

1. Checks the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery, and returned goods for acceptance to stock.

1. Reviews stocked pipe periodically and identifies damaged product to be removed from inventory.

1. Must maintain area to be clean and free from safety hazards.

Other duties may be assigned to assist in daily plant operations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED.  Three years’ experience or training/education in production and/or quality control.

Quality Control Technician 

Performs visual and physical inspection, sampling, testing and control of parts and raw materials to confirm to established specifications, applicable standards and the ISO 9001 Quality system. 

Performs color quality control and corrections by interpreting results obtained using appropriate measurements.

Inspects, calibrates and supervises the use of various instrumentation for testing.

Performs data analysis and provides feedback and improvement suggestions to plant personnel, production management, QC Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager on all issues concerning quality. 

Maintains Quality Control documents and daily reporting of information.

Position Summary:

Company is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department. The company is a producer of high-quality aerospace products, and your role will be to inspect our products for material defects and grade of workmanship using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques. Inspections occur throughout our process, from raw material to final inspection of finished goods.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all activities involving quality inspections per approved procedures

• Initiate nonconformance material reports (NCMR)

• Performs all aspects of testing related to manufacturing

• Incoming inspections

• First article inspections

• In-process release inspection

• Final QA release of finished goods

• Ensures that all inspections and procedures are properly completed and documented following GDP practices

• Responsible for generating Certificates of Conformance (CoC)

• Reads and understands written instructions and SOPs

• Perform other quality duties as assigned

• CMM Certification preferred

• GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009)

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
