Job Requirements

  • Assemble and install generator components according to technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Build, rebuild, and integrate mechanical and electrical subassemblies used in generators and related equipment
  • Perform in-process and final inspections to verify alignment, fit, wiring accuracy, and overall build quality
  • Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks requiring strong manual dexterity
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify defects, and work with engineers or supervisors to resolve problems
  • Communicate with other operators and departments to support efficient workflow and production goals
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
  • Basic electrical knowledge for wiring, routing, and component integration

  • Read and understand moderately complex to very complex schematics/blueprints, wiring diagrams, bill of materials, and schematics.
  • Assemble medium sized to large parts.
  • Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Performs entire custom Bus operation of one job from start to finish.
  • Utilizes computer system for clocking start and finish of job.
  • Responsible for own product quality and check, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
  • Quarantines non-conforming products according to standards and determines the disposition of the product in question.

  • Use an RF scanner to pick component parts from stock for assembly work orders.

  • Follow work instructions to ensure correct labeling, packaging, and product identification.

Job Duties: Mechanically and electrically assemble units, wire panels in various product lines per drawing provided.

  • Wiring – Read electrical or mechanical diagrams and wire accordingly. Requires prolonged periods of standing, bending on a concrete floor.
  • Mechanical Assembly - Requires lifting, climbing, pulling ability to install equipment into cabinets and enclosures.
  • Cabling - Requires physical ability to bend, and route cable per drawings provided.
  • Perform the most difficult functions to accomplish the above tasks.
  • Lead projects being constructed.
  • Access computer (AS400) for occasional stock checking.
  • This can include mechanical assembly only or wiring.
  • Must be accountable & able to work with little supervision.
  • Requires taking initiative, responsibility & having a disciplined work ethic.
  • Maintain clean working area.

Role Summary- Assemble water-treatment system components and finished units according to EcoWater’s quality, safety, and production standards. This role supports the manufacturing of softeners, filters, tanks, and related parts used in residential and commercial water-treatment systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, sub-assemblies, and complete units following work instructions and diagrams.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and fixtures safely and correctly.

• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects, proper fit, and quality before moving to the next stage.

• Perform basic troubleshooting on assembly issues such as misalignment, missing components, or material defects.

• Maintain accurate counts of completed units, scrap, and materials used.

• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and compliant with EcoWater’s 5S and safety standards.

• Follow all safety rules, including PPE requirements and safe handling of materials.

• Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

• Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or material shortages promptly.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic mechanical aptitude

• Able to use basic hand and power tools

General Labor / Assembly – 1st Shift

Location: Lutz, FL (Pasco County)

We are currently hiring General Labor / Assembly Associates to join our team at our clean, climate-controlled facility in Lutz, FL. This is a great opportunity for reliable individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Shift & Pay:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • (Overtime may be required on Saturdays and/or Sundays as needed)
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
  • Hours: 40+ hours per week with overtime opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small products or components following work instructions and diagrams
  • Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and completeness prior to packaging
  • Package finished products and ensure proper labeling for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and stocking materials as needed
  • Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
