- Assesses, plans and schedules production to ensure product availability and shipping requirements are met.
- Oversees and coordinates daily activities and the completion of scheduled work to maximize productivity, minimize cost and increase quality. Responsible for achievement of department efficiency goals and standards, tracks downtime, and develops/implements plans accordingly. Makes recommendations for material, workflow and facilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Troubleshoots production problems and ensures machinery, equipment and facilities are functioning and operating properly for efficient production. Reports process, facility or equipment problems, and collaborates with management and maintenance to ensure safety and minimize downtime.
- Providesmanufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
- In collaboration with production, operations, human resources and engineering staff/management, ensures compliance with various state and federal regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring safety, monitoring security and ensuring good housekeeping/cleanliness.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the daily activities for a team, ensures productivity, sets priorities and manages work schedules. Provides input on resource planning and policy development. Trains/coaches team members on performance, completes performance evaluations and recommends pay actions. Participates in and provides input into hiring and termination decisions.
- May provides input into the department budget and control expenses.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities to effectively supervise large groups of people and work under deadlines while maintaining positive employee relations.
- Ability to build high performing teams that involve mutual accountability for results and demonstrate goal orientated behaviors.
- Ability to manage conflict through assertive and decisive behavior while maintaining composure in difficult situations.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills to speak clearly and persuasively, speak in front of a group of employees and write clearly and informatively.
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar products. Ability to develop and comprehend spreadsheets of varying complexity.
- Requires extensive walking and extended periods of standing or sitting.
- General knowledge of the machines and equipment used.
Ability to focus on organizational growth, financial performance and achieving results.

Toyota Indiana – Experience Center Supervisor
Toyota Indiana is seeking an Experience Center Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead a team of Ambassadors while delivering a positive guest experience.This role requires a personable leader who is confident speaking to groups and engaging guests of all ages. Duties include narrating scripted tours and driving electric trams in an active manufacturing environment with AGVs and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities include leading up to eight Ambassadors; managing schedules, reservations, and customer satisfaction; coordinating contractors; training staff on tours, safety talks, tram driving, and front-desk duties; overseeing special tours and events; tracking KPI data; supporting projects and facility improvements; partnering with plant departments; and serving as backup for all roles.
Qualifications: Must be 18+ with a high school diploma and prior supervisory experience. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and Microsoft Office skills required. Ability to work with executives, VIPs, maintain reliable attendance, and work flexible hours.Preferred: Some college, automotive manufacturing experience, bilingual English/Spanish.

Driving Requirement: Must qualify for vehicle operation and complete required safety training and tram certification.
Job Requirements:
