We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in White Bear Lake, MN. This position offers a stable first-shift schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality heavy equipment components.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine weld locations and assembly requirements.
• Perform MIG and position welding on heavy equipment components according to production specifications.
• Review production priorities and daily work assignments with supervisors and production leads.
• Grind, deburr, and polish welded components to ensure quality finished products.
• Inspect completed welds to verify compliance with company and industry quality standards.
• Perform repair welding and rework when necessary.
• Utilize barcode scanners and computer systems to track production and labor activities.
• Identify and communicate safety, tooling, equipment, and quality concerns.
• Maintain welding qualifications and certifications as required.
• Support additional manufacturing and production activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Technical degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent training in Welding.
• Experience performing MIG welding in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience performing position welding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to pass a hands-on weld test and maintain welding certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout an entire shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and materials.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Location: White Bear Lake, MN
• Pay: $24.00-$27.00+ per hour based on experience
• Overtime: Opportunities may be available based on production needs
• Type: Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
