Forklift Operator (1st & 2nd Shift)

Location: West El Paso, TX

Pay Rate:

• 1st Shift: $15.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: $16.25/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators to join our warehouse and distribution team in West El Paso. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Candidates must have prior forklift experience and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Shift Schedules

1st Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 3:30 PM to 12:00 Midnight

Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage materials.
• Move products between warehouse locations and production areas.
• Verify inventory and material quantities.
• Perform routine equipment inspections before each shift.
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety regulations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must speak and understand English.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment for extended periods.
