Primary Responsibility

Support administrative functions for Quality Control and Production Control Divisions.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Procurement & Financial Coordination

• Submit invoices and requisitions through Ariba for purchasing materials and services
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounting, Finance, and Analysts to resolve questions and ensure accuracy
• Track requisitions and purchase orders using Excel, providing updates on budget and expenses
• Request and obtain quotes from external vendors when not using TMMMS suppliers

2. Financial Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain department budget and expense logs
• Complete monthly accruals for Accounting & Finance (A&F)
• Participate in monthly 3PL meetings to review spreadsheets and prepare monthly invoicing
• Generate SOX report data from SAP, upload to Teams, and share with ALC

3. Data Analysis & KPI Reporting

• Gather SAP data to create daily KPI reports and weekly/monthly downtime (DT) reports
• Report and review daily KPI results with the PC team via Teams
• Schedule meetings with ILO/ILE to address downtime gaps and performance issues

4. Systems & Documentation Management

• Create Level 4 documents in SAP (Ringis)
• Upload Quality Pilot Instruction Sheets (QEIs) to SharePoint
• Manage document organization for Iron Mountain, coordinating storage and pickups for both digital and hard copies
• Support cross-departmental documentation needs as required 

5. Systems & Documentation Management

• Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and complete expense reports
• Coordinate MSRS mail shipments in collaboration with General Stores and Analysts
• Order office supplies and PPE using an established Kanban system

6. Event & Engagement Coordination

• Organize team meeting, including monthly Lunch and Learn sessions
• Create Monthly PowerPoint slides for team member recognition displayed in group houses
• Distribute slides for birthdays, promotion, and special recognition
• Plan team-building activities

 7. Guest & Facility Support

• Coordinate food orders and work with leadership to plan menus and expectations
• Organize PPE, audio equipment, food, and meeting materials for visitors
• Provide on-site support during guest visits

Knife Grinder & Finishers (Hafters)

Alcoa, TN

1st Shift – $20.50/hr

Highly reputable knife manufacturer is expanding to the Alcoa area! They are looking for solid associates who like to work with their hands, have a high attention to detail, and don’t mind getting dirty!

• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment at all times.
• Perform a range of hafting (shaping) operations on knives, including but not limited to:
  • Color Backs: Sand backs and ends to remove die tear and grind lines.
  • Hard Buffing: Remove sharp edges from bolsters and blend cut edges.
  • Turn Bolsters: Remove nail heads and shape bolsters to specification.
  • Turn and Color Covers: Blend bolsters with covers to achieve the desired finished appearance.
  • Cut Slopes/Edges/Fronts: Shape knives to ensure user comfort and functionality.
  • Grease Buffing: Remove remaining grind lines from hafted knives.
• Perform sandpaper and belt changes as required to maintain equipment performance.
• Perform buffing wheel changes and properly break in or rake new buffs as needed.
• Apply grease buff compounds appropriately to sanding materials.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met, conducting inspections before, during, and after the hafting process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout production and upon completion of tasks.

• Standing: As required by operation.
• Sitting: Able to sit for extended periods in front of equipment.
• Moving: Normal, able to move throughout the department as required by operation.
• Lifting: Minimal, up to 35 pounds. Lifting of trays containing knives, wheels and/or other components.

Position Overview

This role involves setting up and operating KLUGE and Bobst press equipment used for die cutting, foil stamping, embossing, laminating, and folding/gluing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with die cutting machinery and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate KLUGE or Bobst die-cutting equipment

• Perform foil stamping, embossing, and die cutting as required

• Maintain consistent quality standards throughout production

Required Qualifications

What You’ll Do

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools
• Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery
• Operate cutting machines, braiding machines, and ultrasonic welding equipment
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and production specifications
• Measure materials and utilize tape measurements accurately
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues
• Support workflow, production goals, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Train and assist team members (Lead positions)
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

Required

• Manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience preferred (entry-level candidates considered for Assembly Technician roles)
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment
• Previous assembly experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience for Lead positions
• High School Diploma or GED
