Robot Welding Operator

Welding Robot is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of robotic welding machines.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Program and calibrate robotic welding machines to ensure precise and accurate welding operation.
• Set up the semi-automatic saw machine for cutting operations, adjust machine settings, and load materials onto conveyors.
• Monitor the welding process, inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, production output, and material inventory audits.
•  Load and unload metal components onto fixtures, align parts properly, and start/stop the robotic welding cycle.
• Select, load, or tweak robotic welding programs using a teach pendant or controller, adjusting parameters like speed, voltage, and wire feed.
• Identify minor mechanical or programming errors, clean welding torches and nozzles, and perform routine preventative maintenance on the equipment.
• Follow shop safety protocols (wearing proper PPE, managing arc shields), keep work areas clean under 5S standards, and log production and cycle data.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two years’ fabrication experience.
• Previous experience operating robotic welding machines or similar equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Pay: $20 – $25 depends on experience. 2nd shift differential.

Shift: 1st shift – 6am – 6:00pm or 2nd shift – 4:30 pm – 3:30 am
