Job Responsibilities

  • Insulate plastic piping systems (chilled water, hot water, refrigerant)
  • Install elastomeric insulation (e.g., Armaflex, K-Flex)
  • Apply rigid PVC and/or aluminum jacketing for weatherproofing
  • Seal and finish joints to specification (vapor-tight, clean installs)
  • Repair or replace existing insulation as needed 
  • Support general labor/fabrication tasks when insulation workload is low

  • Self-directed and reliable
  • 1 year of experience performing insulation tasks
