Experienced Metal Fabricator / Installer

?? Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: $20-$25 based on experience 

We are seeking an Experienced Metal Fabricator / Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled fabricator who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is willing to travel for installation projects throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to shop drawings and specifications
• Operate milling machines, lathes, drill presses, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools
• Perform layout, fit-up, and assembly of custom metal products
• Weld using primarily TIG processes, with some MIG welding as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details
• Travel regularly to customer sites for installation projects
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

• Must be able to pass background checks, particularly for installation projects
• Drug-free workplace; pre-employment screening required
• Successful completion of a 90-day trial period to verify fabrication and installation skills

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of metal fabrication experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Milling machines
  • Lathes
  • Drill presses
  • Metal cutting and fabrication
  • Layout and fit-up
  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings
• Proficient in TIG welding with some MIG welding experience
• Ability and willingness to travel out of town on a regular basis for installations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
