ResourceMFG is seeking an experienced coil operator to perform daily operations of coil machines, verify accuracy of documentation per work orders and customer specifications. As well as handle production machinery, organize warehouse inventory, and ensure material conformance to specifications using measuring devices

Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 6 months relevant Machine Operator experience
  • Receive and understand work orders from the production manager
  • Measure dimensions of parts while machine is running to ensure parts are conforming to the data sheet.
  • Understand basic mechanics and workings in the realm of computer numerically controlled machine tools.
  • Remove finished parts from machine and place on metal tubes or baskets.
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs. , stand, bend, and reach
  • Conduct basic quality assurance of produced parts.
  • Meet production standards
  • Accurate recordkeeping and quality documentation

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join the Quality Department. Your role will be to inspect our products for material defects and grade of workmanship using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques. Inspections occur throughout our process, from raw material to final inspection of finished goods.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all activities involving quality inspections per approved procedures
  • Initiate nonconformance material reports (NCMR)
  • Performs all aspects of testing related to manufacturing
  • Incoming inspections
  • First article inspections
  • In-process release inspection
  • Final QA release of finished goods
  • Ensures that all inspections and procedures are properly completed and documented following GDP practices
  • Responsible for generating Certificates of Conformance (CoC)
  • Reads and understands written instructions and SOPs
  • Perform other quality duties as assigned
  • CMM Certification preferred
  • GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009)
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Proficiency and understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Basic understanding of aerospace quality management systems.

  • Experience with electromechanical sensors and systems is a plus.
  • Experienced or trained in a world-class manufacturing environment with familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma activities is a plus.

  • Programming of Mitutoyo CMM with MCOSMOS software is a plus.
