Position Overview
We are seeking a Test Technician to support our engineering team by validating products throughout their development and lifecycle. You will execute standardized testing, maintain laboratory equipment, and document critical data to ensure product reliability.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Testing: Execute standardized and custom tests on irrigation components to evaluate functionality, reliability, and durability.
- Documentation: Record detailed test data and provide findings to engineers and researchers to aid real-time product improvements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Build and maintain electronic and mechanical test equipment and other related laboratory items.
- Quality Assurance: Identify non-conforming materials and recommend changes to improve testing processes.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years in mechanical, electrical, or computer maintenance and repair.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting irrigation systems, including hardware, software, and communication systems.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Soldering or process standard experience (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma) is preferred.
