Essential Functions:

• Mill, brooch, bore, drill, tap, disassemble, wash, assemble, weld, thread, measure elements of each job.
• Build or rebuild gearboxes.
• Read prints, plans, sketches, parts lists, work orders.Inspect work in process and completed parts or units for defects or errors.
• Provide Shop Supervisor with estimate of man-hours required to perform job safely and satisfactorily.
• Perform maintenance on machinery, and keep shop area clean, safe and free of debris.
• Put all tools away when finished; report any broken tools
• Maintain supplies, shafting stock and other material in an orderly manner
