Maintenance Mechanic Needed in Anthony New Mexico Area
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Shift: Mon – Fri 7:30am – 4pm/OT
Weekly Pay

Job Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including CNC and non-CNC machines, presses, and facility systems
* Perform routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and keep equipment running efficiently
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues by observing equipment, testing systems, and using precision measuring tools
* Complete repairs involving pneumatic, hydraulic, basic electrical systems and elementary wiring.
* Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
* Remove and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment
* Coordinates with production and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with operational goals and minimize downtime
* Inspect parts and equipment to determine wear, alignment, and proper function * Fabricate or modify parts as needed using shop equipment such as mills, lathes, and welding tools
* Communicate with production team members to coordinate repairs and minimize disruption to operations
* Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, issues identified, and follow-up needs
* Monitor equipment performance and proactively address potential problems before breakdowns occur
* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
* Support continuous improvement efforts to increase the efficiency and reliability of equipment
* Travel occasionally to support equipment or operations at other facilities (up to 4 days as needed)

- Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Ability to calculate figures and dimensions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- This position is in manufacturing environment with loud noises
- Must be available to work overtime
- High School graduate or equivalent. Vocational training or technical trade school preferred
- Strong mechanical abilities
